Eggspress Breakfast And Lunch

I had the Huevos Rancheros with a side of ham and limeade. My boyfriend had a variety of tacos. My son had a pancake. The flavors were good the restaurant was clean, and had a nice outdoor patio. The service was good as well. My boyfriend is from Mexico City and is very picky about his Mexican food and he liked the flavor. We decided to try somewhere new and with the name like EggsPress I thought it was American food and was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. My only complaint was that we tried going again the next day for breakfast again but found the restaurant closed without prior notification to their patrons.

Food was really good! I was a little hesitant since it wasn’t that busy and it’s a hole in the wall essentially. The tables were a little dirty but things went uphill from there. I ordered the chicken and waffles while my bf ordered the EggsPress skillet. Everything was so good! The waiters are really nice as well. We also got the horchata (basically Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk) and I loved it. We also had two cups of coffee along with the banana nut pancakes; I’m not a fan of banana, but these were pretty impressive and they were presented well! I wish I took more pictures. Highly recommend! Also we got all of this for less than $30.

Okay three words says it all about this place: Chicken and Waffles! Order this and thank me later! Eggs your way with three amazingly seasoned pieces of chicken and an awesome crispy waffle. I don't know how else to stress that I find myself tasting this meal when I'm still on my way to this place! The outside covered seating is great but they need to make sure the tables and chairs aren't dusty and that the music isnt eardrum piercing loud. Overall, GREAT BREAKFAST!

A+ I’m in love with this place! They had everything I wanted. Not many restaurants have healthy options when you are dieting but this place did! I got Egg White Omelette with pico de Gallo, avocado, feta cheese and whole wheat toast on the side. Highly recommend this place. It’s clean and great service.

You can't throw a rock in San Antonio without hitting a Mexican food restaurant. This one's a cut above. It's obvious the owner has worked on the menu and kitchen staff to produce unique and we'll balanced items. You can get regular tex-Mex here but you will also find specialty items like the eggspress taco, a meal unto itself. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
