This is a really cool little market with a restaurant tucked away in the back. The food was pretty decent. We tried the Beef Gulgolgi and the Black Bean Noodles. Aside from the restaurant, there's a pretty nice variety of items available in the market. It's definitely worth checking this place out.

A comprehensive Korean Store and a restaurant. Almost everything is authentically Korean products. Grocery area is rather small. Only thing that is missing is the prices on almost all kitchenware. Since this is an authentic Korean store, I could safely assume that customers refrain from taking the product to the register because it may be pricier than they anticipate. I can tell that I didn't grab several items, because it would be rather ridiculous to hold up the register and ask the cashier price for each one.

Highly recommend this place. It's got plenty of foods and snacks as well as imported items if you're looking for anything. They sell quite a bit of products as well as groceries. You're sure to find something. They have the side dishes normally served with a meal too for sale. There's a section of them packed into containers. I get my kimchi from here. Other than the market, there is also a restaurant inside towards the back-left from the entrance. Tried it out, ordered the Bibimbap, and throughly enjoyed the food. If you're looking for anything Korean related or craving some Korean food, good chance this is the place to check out.

Korean Market is located on Fairdale off Rittman Road and near Fort Sam Houston. Historically, the Korean community in San Antonio grew when South Korean women married military personnel from Fort Sam Houston and came to America to begin families. I spent about a month in South Korea a long time ago and began to respect and enjoy spicy and sweet flavors of Korean food. The purpose of my visit to Korean Market today was to buy jar of young cabbage and radish Kimchi for a good friend. (Kimchi originally was made with cabbage and spices put in clay jars and buried in the ground for a long time, before refrigeration was possible.) Kimchi can be made with many vegetables, not just cabbage. The quart sized jar at Korean Market is their smallest, but it is a dollar less than a much smaller jar in San Antonio's well-known supermarket. This Kimchi is made for Koean Market and contains no MSG. Korean Market carries close to 50 Kimchi products; I even noticed Ramin Noodles packages with Kimchi!

THE FOOD!!! IS SO GOOD 😭✨️! Not only is it a grocer but there is also a small restaurant to left when you enter the store. They make in house kimchi and other items that you can buy in store. I absolutely love this place and everytime I travel to San Antonio, I can't leave until I've paid them a visit. It is without a doubt worth a try. The only thing I will say is I'm always too shy to ask questions but I still come anyway! The prices aren't bad either and there's really no reason not to give this place a try. IT. IS. WORTH. IT!!!!!

Good food and big size portions. Take the extra food to go. The small machine 50 cent coffee tastes great, it also has hot cocoa, and a black bean drink. I had the hot pot bibimbap. Love the crunchy rice. The place just needs a good remodeling, sticky everywhere. Prices are as expensive as a fancy place. $22 for a dish on a Monday for lunch seems like a dish for 2. Ribs #14 $21.99, Hot pot bibimbap #37 $14.99, drink $1. Total $41.11 lunch for 2.

Update: Based on my experience, Masks are an absolute must or they will ask you to leave, even children. (Strictly stated as an FYI) The hot drinks vending machine in the restaurant is a nice addition. We have only been able to dine in once since covid but all is still good. Still clean, still delicious, and still closed on Sundays. Worth the trip every time. Plus the store now sells some American soda. Previous review: The food is amazing ! Usually not too crowded and the portions are family sized so take a friend. Also the rice is free if you dine in. Bring a drink with you or you can buy Korean soda from the market. They only serve water in the restaurant.

A decent sized store with various Asian products, snacks, food, and treats. They are well stocked and are more than welcome to get items that might be in their back stock room. I like the fact that they make their own kimchi dishes(very fresh!) and other food items such as kimbop, steamed corn, and other tasty side items. They also have a small restaurant in the corner for various Korean dishes with rice, noodles, meat, seafood, etc. My mother enjoys a few of their dishes since she says its close to what she ate when she was in South Korea.

Nice little Korean market full of yummy finds, fresh produce and more! There is also a delicious restaurant located here that sells the best Korean pancakes.
