Their pizzas used to be unique and made them stand out from the crowd. Crust around the edge was very thin and cheese covered the entire surface of the pizza.
Now they've made changes and their pizzas are pretty ordinary. About 3/4 of an inch of crust and scattered cheese across the top.
I wish they would go back to the old way even if the cost more for the consumer.

One of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood. The waitstaff has always been friendly. The food outstanding. So if you ever see a negative review read on as it is most likely an isolated incident.

First visit, quaint and not so busy.
Tried triple sampler (lasagna, chicken parmesan, and Alfredo. Was good, garlic bread n side salad ok. The main dishes did have a resemblance of a restaurant. Piccolo's, now closed. It was located on Evers Rd. One of my favorite regular places to frequent. I'll probably eat here again.

Had an enjoyable dinner here tonight. This was our second time at this Capparelli's location. Service is consistently friendly and it was clear the team was working very hard on a busy night. Atmosphere was nice, and everything appeared clean and welcoming. Definitely appears to be a local gathering spot for friends and families, so that is nice to see in a world full of big chain restaurants. We had the lasagna, and it was very good. The only thing we would have liked is perhaps a bit more spice in the sauce. Tastes vary greatly, obviously, but just a tad more kick would have been good.
The salad was good, but had a lot of the white ribs of the leaves, so not as enjoyable. Garlic bread comes with the meal as well, but didn't have much garlic and not enough butter in addition to being a bit overcooked. Iced tea was clear (thank you), but tasted a bit on the weak side. Overall, not a bad experience at all. A couple of tweaks here and there would make it even better.

My favorite Capparelli's location by far. Reminds me of the old location out on Evers Rd back in the day. I've had the spaghetti, pizza, manicotti, and lasagna. All entrees are very very good. The garlic bread and the super tasty salad during lunch are a major bonus. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is friendly. Highly Recommended!!!

Bongiorno,
The ambiance had a typical authentic Italian restaurant vibe. There was only one server (Ryan) whom handled the entire restaurant by his self. (8) tables. The crowd was a bit more mature and had a few families all over 50+…
Ryan was the waiter, server, bus boy, took care of line and to go orders and handled the register as well.
The amazing thing was he did it with a smile on his face and with a pep in his step and a hip in his hop!! He was not fazed or stressed out at all. He was very attentive to our drinks as he refilled them without having to ask. He was on his A game.
It took a while for our vegetarian pizza.
It was worth the wait for sure…
Flavorful and tasty with cheesy goodness. A perfect bronze pizza crust. We will order some other authentic dishes on our next visit as they looked delicious and with very healthy servings.
Ryan, you earned our respect and our loyalty to you and your restaurant. You deserved that $23 tip. Our bill with 2 drinks, 2 side salads and a 16’ pie was $34.
