Yum Wok

Food was great!! Prices are reasonable. Place was nice and clean. Great place for a quiet dinner. Food was hot and fresh. Serving sizes are big. Granddaughter had a kids meal with sweet and sour chicken. I had chicken and shrimp Lomein. And both of us needed take home boxes because we could not finish our food. My husband had general chicken. My daughter had Sesame chicken. That was really good too. This place is just all around good. I've tried many restraunts and the hot n sour soup was delicious. Gotta try this place to see for yourself.

I miss ordering from Sichuan Cuisine so I am glad to have Yum Wok as my new go to. They have improved on many dishes I loved from their previous iteration to include the twice cooked pork belly, it was cooked perfectly! I can't wait to order again. Ignore all the poor reviews and give this place a try, just try to avoid the traditional american dishes and you will surely enjoy your experience.

I admittedly haven't sampled a whole ton of their menu, but what I've had has been really good. I've only ordered take-out so I can't comment on the dine-in experience, but the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and well-kept. My go-to item is the Chengdu dumplings, which are absolutely delicious (and very hot, but you're warned as such on the menu).

Out of a few Asian Fusion restaurants here in San Antonio, I like Yum Wok the best. I think it's because it's the least hyped. Never a wait, service is always on point and their Chengdu style dumplings and tea smoked duck are the best here, the Ma Po Tofu is also very good. The interior design is elegant and soft looking. It is a great place to get together if you are in the mood to explore Chinese cuisine .
