Jazz night live singer. Delicious food! I got the fettuccini Alfredo with mushrooms AND chicken. It was fantastic. Their meatballs were huge. My friend got the manicotti with one meatball and it looked like a small mountain.
What an awesome small family owned Italian restaurant. The food was all homemade ingredients so the food takes a hair longer than other places but it's worth the wait. If possible ask for Rhonda to serve you. She's super sweet and has the best personality. Definitely try this place.
Great place for real fresh pizza and other food. Live jazz on Saturday and the wait service is pretty good.
I see the bad reviews but i have personally had great experiences the 3 times that I have come here. Even the cook comes out of the kitchen to greet me. The lady at the counter is lovely. I can tell that she has an attitude, but it is a playful one. I love their personalities. My chicken alfredo was delicious. I definitely recommend it.
Went on a Thursday night and this great little three piece was playing. They were solid and the food was good.
This place is fantastic. Rhonda is so pleasant and treats every person that walks through the front door like family. The food is great. Don’t let the interior fool you. The cooks are friendly and are always having fun. Ask Rhonda for food recommendations if you’re uncertain. I had the shrimp and crab ravioli with Alfredo sauce and it was delicious.
I haven't been in a long time, but I need to add my two cents to balance out the complainers who obviously haven't found the right location yet.
This restaurant holds a great deal of personal significance because it's where I used to go with my Dad every weekend. We LOVED the food, and we enjoyed the loveliness of the waiters and waitresses, and we always got very good service. The food was never badly made and was always just the right temperature, which was also a huge bonus. I still get cravings for Capparelli's food every now and again even though it's been years since my last eating there.
Ignore those who want nothing more to complain. Try it for yourself rather than listening to their whining.
Used to work in San Antonio for a couple years, this place was always top of the list when it came to lunch or dinner. The food is delicious, it's always prepared fresh when ordering, that's why pizza takes a little longer. The staff is outstanding and friendly, felt like a part of the family every time I went.
We have lived in San Antonio our whole lives and this is the best Italian in town. Never had a bad experience. They always make you feel welcome. The lasagna and chicken parmesania are my favorites. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is usually a live group playing music. When you're there, you really do feel like family!
The food is delicious and plentiful. Tastes really fresh. When I asked the manager if everything is made fresh, her response was, "Well, the wine comes in bottles, but aside from that, yeah. Fresh every day." Not sure what all the one star reviews are talking about. Capparelli's is my go to place for Italian!
