Benjie's Munch

We came here for my son's 3rd birthday because he LOVES cheese. From the service to the food, and the beyond awesome staff it was great. My son is on the spectrum and the staff was more than understanding (he was stemming). They came to check on us numerous times and were friendly. We will for sure be back!!

The candied jalapeno bacon cheeseburger is one of the best burgers in San Antonio. Legit! Pair it with sweet potato fries and it doesn't get any better than that. Delicious. Need to go back and try more burgers. Friendly service. They checked up on me several times to make sure everything was good. They didn't even seem to mind when I changed my mind three times before I settled on the candied jalapeno bacon cheeseburger. Try this place.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally did and tried the buffalo chicken sammich. Also got the deviled eggs. Deviled eggs were good but i wished they mixed the bacon and jalapeno into the yolk mixture. Still, they were good. The sandwich was great, Bacon was crispy and greens fresh. The chips were unexpectedly awesome. The best part of the place was that ALL of the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there and we all friendly. I want to go back and try the burgers... Next time.. Highly recommended!!

Visited for the first time last weekend to try the chicken sandwich and found award winning grilled cheese sandwiches as well! Had a walk through the best things on the menu from the owner himself. Ordered the chicken sandwich, spinach and artichoke grilled cheese with bacon (don't forget that) and upgraded to fries on both. Added some mac and cheese too. Everything was delicious! Even the fries were spot on! A++ Update Jan 2023 Back for my fourth time today this time during restaurant week! Everything was delicious as expected. Update June 2023 Tried the sweet potato fries and crispy chicken club. Excellent as usual. Update September 2023 The expansion is awesome! Quite a few more tables and lots of extra room! Food great like always.

If you haven't eaten from Benjie's Munch's incredible tantalizing menu yet, don't waste another second! Thankfully, they are just a short distance from my office, so I get to enjoy them any time I want. I love the "fancy sandwiches", as I lovingly refer to them. Ben is very supportive of his local community. I highly recommend taking your family, team, office, friends, .....strangers there to have lunch this week!

Visiting with a friend suggested we try this place. O m g it was fantastick gastro delight. I had the candied jalapeno bacon cheeseburger, and I ate the whole thing. It was really good from beginning to end and fresh. The potato chips were fresh and good. I have tried my friends. Sweet potato fries, and next time, I will make sure I order those. Friendly staff clean environment in place good to bring some family. I would say I recommend this place.

I had never been to Benjie's Munch before so when I came in I asked the lady at the counter what to recommend. She had some great recommendations and mentioned their award winning spinach and artichoke grilled cheese so I chose that. I told her my order was to go and she kindly offered me a water cup while I waited. The food was delicious!!!! I can't say enough great things about it. It came out to $16 for just the sandwich (no drink) so it's not a cheap place to eat but I think their quality of food and ingredients really stands out so it makes up for it. Everyone was incredibly friendly and nice too. I was greeted when I came in as staff say "welcome!" And when I left a staff member made sure to hold the door for me and said "thanks for coming in and have a great day." So it was just a really pleasant atmosphere!

Odd music for sure but the food drones that out ..Great service friendly staff The artichoke dip fav. Burger just ok bland ,chicken much better choice. With there unique sides .Fried greenbeans good and a very lite fried Brussel sprout leaves was different. So much to try still it's a repeat stop for me
