My daughter and I wanted to try Thai food and saw this place had great reviews. The restaurant is a bit beat up on the outside but don’t let that fool you. We were seated quickly and waited on in no time. Our food came out piping hot and fast too. My daughter is 12 and she enjoyed her lunch, she did not care for the mango dessert because it was served warm. I thought my dish was excellent and enjoyed our lunch together. If you are in the mood for Thai give this place a try.

The food here is absolutely amazing 💯 and the staff...very sweet, friendly and welcoming🙏🏽😊 Whenever I need to come to San Antonio for business again, I will definitely be eating here. I came two days in a row and tried different dishes and they did not disappoint 😁😁

The Food is always fresh and hot it’s a bit expensive but the portion size can easily feed two or you’ll have left overs. I paid $37 for fried rice, cheese rolls, and fried ribs which was all delicious. The staff was friendly and they even speak English if anyone is concerned about language barriers. If this place doesn’t do it for you then try “thai chill” these two restaurant are like sisters.

The food and service is great! The freshness of the dishes and consistency of taste after each visit is on point so far. A definite recommendation! The chicken and green bean dish (#26 on menu) is fresh and flavorful and in my opinion has the right amount of heat. They have complimentary ice cream for dessert, just remember to ask.

I've been coming here for lunch for a few years now. The food is always delicious! They are all about quality and quantity. It is a bit pricey. However, you are getting what you pay for. The atmosphere could use some sprucing up, and they close too early for most who get off work a little later. All in all, I really enjoy this place

This is what I would call "authentic" Thai Cuisine! Excellent selection of delicious food choices prepared with care and presented with a beautiful appearance and color. Food tastes as great as it looks, you get considerable portions of food for $$. The best Pad Thai I had so far in this part of town and dare to say San Antonio... Friendly staff serving customers and a nice, clean ambient to enjoy if you decide to dine in. Thai Tea is ice cold refreshing, and deliciously sweet! Update: I had to take away 1 star as I notice inconsistencies with food quality. Had a pineapple fried rice that tasted like nothing, pretty much just watered down flavor, not fresh. At least the green beans and chicken was good.

The servers were friendly and prompt. I was disappointed that the were out of ginger so I had to opt for another dish (recommended by server) I had never had before(chicken and basil). I had been warned by coworker about heat level so I dropped down from my normal Thai hot to hot. The dish wasn't bad, just wasn't what I normally get at other Thai restaurants. The heat level was good, but probably could have gone for Thai hot. Papaya salad was OK, just not my favorite compared to my favorite place. Overall, good place for authentic Thai.

Last time we ate here at Thai Cafe was before the Covid Pandemic began. Cafe converted from a buffet to table service. When we arrived at entrance, staff very quickly came to offer door assistance (saw where I was using a rollator ( walker). Lunch menu was simple offering many variations of chicken & one pork for $10. Each item included spring rolls and a soup. Ordered an L2 spicy Pork with rice. My wife ordered separately a chicken soup and a spring roll. Food was good. Service was great.
