We recently visited for breakfast. We all had the senior option. All of our food was plentiful and tasty.

Our server Britney was great. She was very attentive and our food was good. Best tortilla soup I’ve ever had. Big portions.

Jim's is a San Antonio tradition. People have gathered here for meetings, late night eating, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or coffee and desserts with friends (I've done all of those). My Mom and I like to go to Jim's for breakfast. They always have friendly servers who are "on it" with whatever you need. Their prices are great. It's not The Ritz-Carlton, mind you. It's just a solid local hangout in San Antonio. I love that they offer green tea. They offer a senior menu, too
Wonderful diner location with good tasting food. Staff was very friendly and fast. Very large menu and one of the few places open at 6.
I had the basic two eggs and hash browns breakfast's today but for some reason they were just phenomenal. the Grits were exceptional biscuits were just like some of the best I've had at jims and the gravy was really hot. it's just a great experience I recommend this Jims
It's JIM'S, what can you say? I wanted something homestylish instead of fast food, so I popped in here. I was pleasantly surprised at just how friendly my waitress Janice was too me. So welcoming and attentive I swear I think she had me confused for a regular or even her grandson, she was just wonderful! ❤️👍 She even knew what I was thinking cuz she offered me the special: chopped steak w mushroom gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes w a bread roll. I just agreed! Added my favorite cheddar cheese soup and I was in heaven. You know, it's nit GREAT food, but it's never bad, and I always leave satisfied. And the atmosphere, well...again, it's JIM'S 🤷♂️ struck up conversation with a counter diner and ran into a customer who was reminiscing about an old co-worker of mine, and then there was Janice. Just a good, satisfying experience with some old style comfort food. Sometimes you just need that! I know I'll be back. 👍

Has breakfast here today and could not have received better service. They have a full menu and environment was clean. I wish I could have put Doris, my server, in a to-go box. She is excellent and a true credit to the Jim's Restaurant brand.
Stopped into the 410 @ Broadway location for a quick lunch... Had the tortilla soup with house salad. Everything was great, fresh salad and hot soup!!!
