At Denny's, just two blocks from the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, I got a stack of delicious pancakes, a huge decanter of syrup, sausage links, and coffee, all for $6 plus tip. Service was excellent, delivered by a very friendly waitress who worked her tail off but never broke a sweat or appeared stressed.
Denny's breakfast fare is a bit too high in calories for a health-minded guy my age, so I can't make a habit of it. It's always a great treat though. Thank you, Denny's!
As soon as me, my fiancée, my mother and my street brother came in we were seated quickly. We got our drinks fast. We got our food order in no time at all. The service was excellent and I would recommend friends to eat here.
We had the best experience with our server Tabril W, she did exceptional, refills, attentive, and fast. Made our meal one of the best we've had, and it's dennys... Awesome job.

I'm not usually attentive of my diet, but I was happy to find the 9 grain pancakes, which was the first fiber containing food I've seen in a few days. The fruit was also appreciated by my system.
Fibers were very welcome after a few days of US food. Of course, I added some eggs and bacon to make sure they kept the American feel. The country music helped as well.
Service was decent enough. People seem to hold Denny's to restaurant standards, but the waitress was helpful.

Went to this location for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning, waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which was no problem at all. My waitress was great, very polite, and always came to the table with a smile on her face to assist. The food was great. I tried the stuffed French toast, and it was delicious. I would definitely come back to this location when I am in town.
My server Sarah was great and was attentive. She did a great job. The food was pretty good I had the carmal banana slam pancakes with eggs. The pancakes were great however, the eggs tasted a bit like powdered eggs and dry. As far as the homeless situation outside, the manager seems to be doing his best to help them but also make the customers coming and going feel more comfortable. It’s a great place to eat, y’all just work on those eggs a bit.
Our server Tyler was awesome sauce very friendly & funny. Our food was so delicious we had the Santa Fe Skillet & Moons Over My Hammy Omelet & coffee. Our food came out fast. We will definitely be coming back here 😋

Souch of an amazing experience. The service that my server give was exceptional. Very attentive to the details, refill my delicious hot coffee. My stuff french toast was out of this world. The delicious creamy filling with the strawberry sauce, what an amazing combination. The recommendation for my scramble egg took me by surprise. Fresh jalapenos, diced tomatoes and perfectly grill onions with melted cheese. Who would guest that you can get eggs so delicious in this presentation at Denny's. I ask for bacon and was cook to perfection, crispy and flavorful. My server suggested to add hash browns with perfect grilled onion, delicious melted cheddar cheese, fresh jalapenos and bacon. That by it self was a star, delicious.
The server were very professionals and helpful. The restaurant was clean and with a fresh look. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm visiting this beautiful city and she told me some site seen, and her recommendation was spot on. The Alamo is marvelous, and walking distance from this magnificent location. The river walk if full of joy and Christmas spirit, walking distance as well.
Highly recommend this location. Very attentive and friendly staff, and delicious food.
So the saving grace belongs to the kitchen! Six of us. Ordered everything from sandwiches, breakfast to dinner items. Everything tasted great and hot. So from a greeting standpoint not nearly as good. Did not make us feel important. Rather made us wait for 15 minutes because where tables were available the waitress had recently had seating so now we were waiting for the issues of the staff. Once seated we had to wait another 15 minutes to get anything to drink. 45 minutes after getting in food finally arrived. Keep the cooks and retrain your hostess and wait staff. Ty
Anita was my server and she was simply a joy and very attentive and efficient in taking care of her section. My food was served within a timely manner and when it arrived it was fresh and hot. I had a small issue with my turkey bacon and Anita had it fixed right away.
Visited Denny’s for the first time and we enjoyed it. Our server Karmen was very well put together. She took care of us very well and was very high spirited. Will definitely stop by again for their chocolate chip pancakes.
So terrible host! Made us wait 30 minutes because the waitress working the only tables for 6 had just seated another couple...and had to wait for another waitress to seat her area first. Once seated the waitress didn't bring water for 20 minutes. All in all we were there for over an hour to eat breakfast! The only saving grace was the food was very good! So to the manager... You must step up your game!!!
