Le Peep Cafe

My husband and I decided we'd have brunch here after my appointment since he hadn't been, and we don't get out this way often. Although we had excellent service, the food was a little disappointing. We both ordered the Benedict Florentine,and the hollandaise sauce was super runny, and the taste was a little off, so maybe they just had an off day, and I understand because we all have our days. However, I did have, MY FAVORITE, Cinnamon Roll Latte, and is a MUST try. La Peep has such a nice calming atmosphere any time I've been here. This has and will always be one of my favorite restaurants, and I highly recommend it. I didn't get a picture this time, but you wouldn't be disappointed.

Visited for the first time with a friend, for breakfast last Friday. She just wanted toast and coffee but I wanted something substantial as I had been to the gym earlier. I had the Hen Plate - 2 scrambled eggs, 4 slices of bacon, fried potatoes and sourdough toast with jam. I also had a Mexican Mocha Latte, a speciality coffee. I couldn’t finish my breakfast, too much food but it was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Came here with my boyfriend, my server (who I think was named Tessa) was very nice and the food was great. I got the cinnamon roll latte which was delicious and the strawberry waffles; my boyfriend got the Desperado, which was also great. Our server addressed me and my boyfriend as "my friend" instead of ma'am or sir which was very appreciated as I'm transgender and workers often misgender me, so the gender neutral terms were a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely come back to this location.

Le Peep is by far my favorite place when I travel for breakfast/lunch/brunch since I don’t have them back home. This location in San Antonio was great with all the yummy favorites that keep me coming back. Gooey Buns are my top pick and these were perfectly made with lots of cinnamon sugar. The entrees were great as well and service was top notch with all the drink refills we needed. It was nice and clean and felt open on the inside - nice modern design and clean restrooms. Can’t wait to visit my next location!

Excellent all around! From the moment you walk in you are greeted, seated, and made at home! My wife came here growing up and we were visiting SA and she wanted to show me her favorite breakfast place. I was very impressed with the quality and service of the staff along with the quality in the kitchen. Waitress was very kind, knowledgeable, and could take a social cue! We were catching up with old friends and she picked up perfectly on giving us space and checking in. Coffee is great, I got drip and it was solid! Lots of options, i normally don’t eat breakfast so I appreciated the availability of lunch that early. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito and oh my goodness was it a party in my mouth! GET IT! Excited to come again and make this a regular spot when we visit!
