I have been to countless Thai restaurants in multiple cities, and Sawasdee has been my favorite for nearly 10 years. I have been coming here religiously since 2015, and I am so saddened to hear that they will be closing in a few months. This is my go to curry place and the only restaurant I want to eat at for my birthday. Yellow curry with veggies is the BEST anywhere. But really, anything I ever get here is amazing. Recommend the crispy spring rolls with plum sauce and try the crispy noodle curry at least once as well. The family that owns it are the kindest, so please go support this local place!
I enjoyed this restaurant. I am not too familiar with Thai food,but the dishes here are well executed. Now typically I would remember what I ordered and what We paid, but all I remembered about this issue is that the prices and portions are reasonable.
I do remember the red curry I had was excellent, but I shouldn't have chosen pork. Never choose pork with curry. That is my fault.
The Thai coconut soup could have used more kiffir lime leaves.
Papaya salad was fresh with crisp vegetables and lightly seared lemon grass beef.
As for the eggplant, it was kind of greasy but still good. The salad that came with it
seemed out of place though.
Atmosphere is fine. The building complex is dated, but well kept. Service was excellent, tables were cleared often and refills were quickly provided.
Overall a good restaurant, I would not going back there if I happened to be in the area.
Not gonna lie..as a super fan of thai food, this is my fav restaurant now! Best Panang curry ever! The waiters are friendly as well:)
Ordered Pad Thai and red curry with spring rolls. Everything was super delicious. They ask you the level of spice and the waiter double checked to make sure the spice level was ok. Attention to detail was excellent. Place was decorated like you were in Thailand. Inside the place was clean and well lit. Very much enjoyed eating here.
Been there 3 times so far! Really like their food. Soups are very comforting. This time we ordered tom yum soup, duck curry and sawasdee bbq chicken. The bbq chicken was really delicious! It was well seasoned and well cooked! The duck curry was just okay though! Their level of spice is pretty high though! I feel I can eat spicy and I took level 4. It was pretty spicy. So be careful on that!

First. The place can use an updated. It was a little humid, but tolerable. The music was calming. I admit it was putting me to sleep. Service was good. They filled my glass and came @ the right time to check on us. The restrooms were clean and that's good. The place wasn't packed with customers. You could talk to your family in peace. It has a nice quiet atmosphere.
Second! The food was good. I devoured the coconut seafood soup. It had shrimp, fish, calamari and oyster. My wife had Pad woo Sen. It was glass noodle, stir fried noodles. She gave it a 7 out of 10 spurs. My eldest had the largest Won Ton soup. It was a meal for two and tasty. We all were mesmerized with the presentation. It was a large stainless steel bowl on a container. At the bottom was a small flame to keep the soup hot. Our youngest had the large bowl of rice which was the safe choice. We all shared our food. We left stuffed and Happy 😊.

Get ready for excellent, authentic Thai food, generous portions, good variety of options on the menu, friendly service, reasonably priced and good location. Well hope it is clear by this point in the review how we felt about this restaurant. It is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Texas!

Phenomenal food, attentive service, and a calming atmosphere. The pumpkin curry was incredible!
Best red curry we have EVER had! Just a touch of spicy heat but full of flavor. The pork ribs were also very savory and juicy. Thai iced tea was surprisingly sweet & very creamy. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly
Excellent service and delicious food. I had the seafood salad and seafood combination stir fry. Both delicious. The salad was ordered medium hot, and the stir fry hot and the spice was good. I added a bit more to both, but admittedly love spicy hot.
