Longhorn Cafe

Great food but my friend was almost jumped by an employee there. Everyone has had days but my friend was in the restroom and out of habit turned off the light when leaving the restroom. Apparently there was an employee in the toilet and my friend apologized for times and the guy just wouldn't let it go. I was sure the cops were going to need to come. I've never experienced that in a restaurant that didn't have a bunch of drunks in it. It was during lunch time. No drunks. Irate employee. Unreal. Great food though 😂

I did four Stars for the atmosphere because one of the other Longhorn cafes that I've been to had huge Windows all the way around so lots and lots of light. It looks like there might be two overflow or two party rooms on the left and the right side and those look like they might have a lot of light. We ate in the main room in the center which was a little on the dark side. I keep ordering "the horn". Ground beef steak stuffed with jalapeños and cheese. This friend was craving their onion rings. They never disappointed. The original cheeseburger is also a nice tribute to the classic!

Food was good! I would return here again tbh. I got the chicken fried steak and it was huge. Steak was fried nicely and you can actually taste the meatiness of it. Portions were great. My husband got the burger and he liked it fairly well and he’s a burger fanatic. We got chicken tenders and tots for the kiddos and they ate it all up which is huge because they’re pretty picky when it comes to their chicken tenders. I just wish y’all had some chocolate cake on the menu. I can really go for some right now.

I would give this place a 4.5/5. The burger tasted great for not having the grill or smokey flavor. Definitely would go back for another one. Tator tots were great, chicken fried steak with some gravy also hits the spot. The steak inside tasted like actual meat in comparison to other restaurant locations. Chicken tenders were fried perfect with good flavor.

It was hard to leave this because I love this place. The food was delicious and fresh as always. However, the service was a little disappointing this time. They may have had a shift change or something because by the time we were done eating there was a new Cashier and Manager on duty and they both were 100x better and more welcoming than the original casher and manager that was there. I'll still be back because I've been here many times and always have a good experience.

Our family enjoyed this place for dinner. We all found things that we enjoyed and had a god experience. Our meals took a while to be cooked but they were very well prepared. Casual dining and they offer rooms for groups which is very convenient. The cook out in the open, for you to see and that’s pretty entertaining. Their burgers were great and the club was delish. We also enjoyed the onion rings, French fries and tater tots! The homemade ranch is definitely worth the extra add-on!
