I'm searching for some restaurants in the area since we're from out of town and stumbled upon OMBU. I called in and asked how long the wait was for two people, and was told it was no wait so we headed over immediately. There are spots in a lot, but none when we arrived so we ended up parking on the street. Upon entering, we were seated right away but noticed that the restaurant was actually quite full. The first round, we are allowed to order six items and subsequent rounds, you are allowed to order four. We started with brisket, jowl, corn cheese, galbi, and tenderloin. In other rounds, we had more brisket, pork belly, kimchi rice, bibimbap, popcorn chicken, and of course more brisket. Truthfully, the marinated meats seemed a little sweet for my taste. I would highly recommend getting the brisket since it cooks the quickest and honestly was the most delicious. We did end up asking for half orders of rice, because they give you so much. Staff is super attentive, but it gets a little chaotic. We weren't too sure who we could order from, but we had servers come up to the table every so often asking if we would like to order more. The price point is great, as I am comparing it to the San Francisco Bay area prices. Definitely worth it if you are craving Korean barbecue.

If you like to pay $60 (for two people) to cook your own meat on a pretty cool and unique (relatively slow) table grill for two hours and be able to try lots of different kind then this could be for you! It was a fun experience. I enjoyed the already cooked for you sides just as much as the meats, such as the BBQ fried rice, sweet potato mash, pot stickers, and sesame balls. My favorite meats were the Bulgogi beef, the steak pieces, and the brisket. I would pass on the pork belly next time due to how long it takes to cook it and get it crispy. *I will add, if you have a phobia of raw meats and juices touching things and running into other meats, and needing to know if things are cooked safely, etc this experience might give you anxiety. It did for me. Thankfully we didn't get sick and did enjoy ourselves! :) **If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more local reviews!

Was really hungry tonight. Was in the mood for Korean BBQ. This place was great! The food 😋 was really good. Service was so so. Waitress was nice, but I never got a second drink. I fact non of us did and granted they were busy. But that's my only complaint. Other then that like I said the food 🍛 🍽 was really good and fresh. I highly suggest on a less busy 🌙 night.

Around 22$ for all you can eat, it’s a great deal! Our favorites are brisket, pork belly, and hawaiian pork steak. There are so many types for you to try. However we did not order other appetizers or food because we are there just for the meat, so we can’t say if their cooking is authentic or not. Our waitress was very caring, she offered to change the grill for us couple of times and being attentive. They get very busy and always rushing here and there, be patient and understanding. On weekends they will have dinner items at dinner price for the whole day. Weekdays will be cheaper for lunch timings but not all menu are available. Drinks are not included.

Had an amazing night today here. There’s a great variety to pick from and everything we tried was really good. But if you’re considering dinning in do keep in mind three things. 1.- This is the most important, if you’re planning on going at night please make reservations, trust me, it’s going to save you a lot of trouble and waiting. 2.- The flavor of the food is good, but if you’re looking for a complete authentic experience, you might me disappointed since the Korean stuff doesn’t really taste like the original food from Korea. I personally do not care about authenticity in this kind of cases so I had a great experience. 3.- This place gets PACKED, like totally full, servers are at full speed rushing everywhere, all the time. I’ve felt bad for them because of how busy it was (even tho it was Thursday, don’t wanna imagine on weekends) and never saw them taking a break on my 2 and half hour visit. So consider that there may be some slow service because of that, they’re going to forget one thing or another, and some food (specially the ones they prepare) could probably take long to get to you, but just let your server know and they’ll check and give a solution right away. Please be mindful and considerate, they’re extremely busy and arguably tired, I’m sure they appreciate some help and a nice tip. Personally, my server was Tina, I heard lots of bad stuff about her on previous reviews but after my visit, I can say that they’re absolutely wrong. She was an amazing and kind server, she was putting lots of work and attention to our table even tho she had like other 20 things to do at the same time. We really appreciated her help. This is a 5 star for me, but to be honest I am biased. But even from a neutral perspective I’d give this place easily a 4/5. Be nice to the servers and they’ll be nice to you, as easy as that!

The dinner special was wonderful we really like the quality of the meat, the brisket however was a little too thin but I would definitely recommend getting the marinated beef and the steak. The price was worth it, our waiter was also very attentive and checked up on is through out dinner to make sure we were alright.

Great All You Can Eat Option at reasonable prices! 🤤🙌🏽 Everything was delicious and flavored nicely. Great atmosphere to chill with friends. My favs on the the tongue, the galbi, mackerel, and calamari. And I loved the hot rose tea 🌹 There were also cute neon lights on the wall where you could take pics. Excellent customer service! Peter was great. An additional plus for my mamas, they had a changing table for a little ones. We’ll definitely come back to visit. Our whole group enjoyed the experience and food.

Super sketchy area, but do not let that stop you. For $20 AYCE - you cant go wrong. 50 item menu? What? I ate everything and it was one of my top ten AYCE Korean BBQ spots that I have ever been too. Considering most are in the $35-$50 range for the same meats. Service was excellent, great crowd. My server told me several times to relax and no hurry. Awesome! See my pics! Yummy!!!

This was my first experience at OMBU. I am visiting from out of town and was looking for something to do and was a little hungry. This place seemed to fit the bill. I don't normally care to cook my own food at a restaurant, but as I had nothing else to do, I thought I would try. The meats came out sliced perfectly. I ordered fried dumplings. They were a little smaller than I was used to seeing, but there were plenty, and their flavor more than made up for the size. They were quick to swap out cook tops as needed and often stopped to check if anything else was required. I will make one note. As someone who doesn't care for Kimchi, theirs was delicious. Good enough that I requested the kimchi fried rice. It, too, was amazing. I will most definitely bring coworkers here and family when they visit me out here. All in all I would 100% recommend OMBU Grill.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - the proteins we selected were all nicely cut and seems like decent quality as they weren't frozen solid still nor melted. The galbi was a bit disappointing as it was really chewy (not in a good way). The sides and appetizers were surprisingly good! Note that the marinades and flavors seem less Korean and more Japanese/Chinese. They were out of (32) bacon enoki or no longer carry it. These were the items we ordered (2) takoyaki, (14) fried sesame balls, (18) prime beef brisket, (19) prime beef tongue, (20) prime pork belly, (24) Ombu signature beef tenderloin, (25) Ombu signature galbi, (39) herring grill, (49) corn cheese, and (52) beef donejang soup pot Ambience: 4/5 - nice and cozy shop without the music being too loud. The shop did get really smokey as the night went on. Service: 5/5 - slight language barrier but the server was really nice and came by to check on us multiple times Value for price: 5/5 - The banner outside has incorrect advertised price! Lunch $14.99 to $15.99 and dinner $19.99 to $21.99. The food was good though and we saw the difference in price when we opened the menu so we weren't too shocked
