I love going to Maxwell's, SLC. The food and service is ALWAYS amazing. The staff is very welcoming and happy to be there. One of my favorites on the menu is the "Goodfellas"pizza. The crust is crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings work beautifully together. But you cannot go wrong in ordering one of their homemade pasta dishes. The Gnocchi with their creamy pesto sauce is bomb!
Loved this place! Visited for the 1st (but absolutely not the last) time for lunch and found a great "we'll be back" place. The sandwiches, pizza and drinks were very good. Our server Tim made our experience even better! THANKS!!

Massive 20 inch thin crust pizzas are unparalleled. Honest ingredients. Truthful to being an authentic pizza. Meatballs are massive. Could have a wider beer selection but still giving it a 5 star. Great service. Just a good time!

We found this gem on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Definitely worth the visit. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food with plenty of gluten-free options for those with diet restrictions. Being downtown, parking can be a bit of an issue, but the experience is worth the trouble. Also, if visiting during peak times, reservations should be considered.

Friendly wait staff. Pleased with the recommendations for the pomegranate mule (Five Wives Heavenly Vodka, PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, Ginger Beer, Fresh Lime Juice and a Lime), so delicious! Many TVs with sports related games, tournaments, commentary. We watched the Yankees baseball game (they won!!!) and women's warm up to Scotish Open golf.

This is a great place to come eat, watch the game, hangout with friends. The atmosphere is great, tv all around, very friendly staff and such tasty food!

Not going to dumb down the server we got because maybe the music was too loud and she couldn't hear what we were saying. I probably would try it again. It's in a nice location and an interesting building.
The food was sooooo good! We tried a bit of everything and all of it was amazing! The only issue I had with this place was the way they seat/take a reservation. They do not take reservations over the phone so you have to go in. When I got in the restaurant was 1/2 empty. The hostess asked how many we said 5, she them said it would be a 45 min wait. I asked why... She said she called the other parties before us and she has to give them each 15 mins before she can move on to the next in line. We said ok and left. We were not going to go back but I left my jacket, so we went back. It was about 10 mins later and the hostess asked what our name was and seated us instantly. The only thing that makes sense is everyone had the same thought process we did and just went elsewhere. Kinda stupid!!! But amazing food0!!! The New York cheese pizza was the best!
Great food and service in an older building atmosphere, loved the pizza , New York style, dough was awesome, also like the mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage, one of the best stuffed mushrooms I have had , good service, but bar and area around seemed dirty , soda carbination was off , liked the food but I feel a remodel or cleaning needs done , thank you!
