I can not sing praises high enough to do The Lost Cajun justice. This unassuming little shop has the best authentic Cajun I've had outside the deep south. Everything is amazing. My favorite part had to be the sampler they brought out. It had six menu favorites and made the decision on what to eat even harder. The lobster bisque is one of if not the best I have ever had. The jambalaya and gumbo are perfection. I was so torn until I was told the lunch special, half a po-boy and a cup of soup. If I lived in Salida I would be here a few times a week.

Don't know what to say, this place has humbled me in such a way I can't explain it., Its only been 10 hours and I can't stop thinking of this place. We decided to try almost everything. We loved it all. A must stop , hidden jem . YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Great little cajun place in Salida, CO! Wanted a boiling pot of crab legs and shrimp, but they dont have that 😩
Service was great! Sweet tea was excellent also.
Our waitress brought us samples of their gumbos. A nice touch!

Awesome food. Very clean. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Lobster bisque and crawfish. Sorry, we ate half of it before i took the picture. Lol

Amazing Cajun food in the middle of Colorado? Decor akin to fast food joint, but the food is gourmet!

The food was very very good, and good service. It was wonderful to have a "flight" sampler free so we could taste the foods we were unfamiliar with. Excellent blackened catfish, not fishy tasting at all. Nice thinly breaded shrimp, and rich thick gumbo. We will return in the near future.

Great service and soooooo much food! Our first time here and we will definitely be visiting again! Great food!!

Really good food but if you want to have the jambalaya you need to be there for the lunch because it's so good they sell out of it shortly after the lunch rush but friendly service and positive atmosphere definitely will be back again next time in town!!!

Stopped in to the Lost Cajun on our way through Salida. We've been to The Lost Cajun in other places before, so we knew what we were getting ourselves into.
This restaurant looks pretty new and is very clean. The staff are all very friendly, and our waiter was definitely a pleasure to be around.
The food was pretty good, however, I would have appreciated more garlic bread with our meals than the two small slices we received with our soups. I was a little surprised at how few pieces of alligator we received with our fried alligator appetizer.
They make lemonade in house, and it was actually pretty good. The food tasted good and I would definitely come back in to eat.
