Burger King

Well first of all it is Burger King! LOL. However the lady that served me was exceptionally friendly kind and actually gave me ketchup without asking. She look like she was having a bad day but she put on a good face oh, that doesn't happen very often and fast food restaurants. I wish I knew her name so I could post it but I do not. This is the Burger King and Downtown Salem Virginia if you like fresh french fries this is definitely the Burger King to go to.

There was a very long drive through line so we went inside to order. I wonder if they were understaffed because we had to wait almost 20 minutes to get out food. The food was okay. Two orders were for the Whopper Jr and they boys were surprised how tiny the burger was. It was barely bigger than my palm.

⭐ Sloppy food prep and poor attitudes. This location is clearly not run very well. Kid's meals that looked like they were put together playing a game of cornhole, requests made for orders forgotten or ignored. They once included 17 mayonnaise packets (literally) in our drive-thru order when we simply asked for a couple. So, like the Lowe's across the street from them, we now drive by this location on our way to somewhere that cares about quality service.

Man these guys have gone downhill, went last year near the beginning a couple of times and they were great, now it seems like their broiler is on the fritz every single time we go there. Guys, if your broiler is broken just close. You're burger king, not fryer king. Staff are always rude and impatient, seems like they just want you to leave. The food here is ALWAYS atrocious now. We get our burgers and they're either overtopped and soaked in mystery fluids and grease, or they're totally bone dry and I can't force myself to eat more than 3 bites. Do NOT go here.
