Daynight Donuts

Recommend by many, I made it a mission to stop by Daynight at least once, and that one trip was not enough! The selection is out of this world. Donuts of all kind, filled with so many different creams and fillings. My husband and I reluctantly settled on a half dozen, although my heart really wanted a full. Our pickings: Strawberry Frosted - A regular ring donut with sweet strawberry frosting and sprinkles. I'm sure when I ate this donut it was barely out of the oven. It was so fluffy and delicious. A+ Blueberry Crumb - A fluffy Berliner filled with blueberry jelly and topped with glaze and a cinnamon sugar topping. First thing I noticed about this guy was how heavy he was! They were generous with the jelly. Absolutely wonderful! Maple Bar - Just like any other maple bar I've had, to be honest, but still great! Maple Frosted Bavarian - Berliner with a generous amount of Bavarian cream, not as much as the jelly one though. Sooo good. ...and I completely forgot what the last two were. However I can tell you that the entire half dozen was gone between my husband and I not more than 3 hours later, so that tells you how much we enjoyed them! 10/10 would return!

How can a 24/7 donut spot not get a 5/5 star rating? That gracious act alone is deserving of such a merit. Excellent donuts as well. I recommend their apple fritter. Bring cash, as donuts are very cheap and you have to pay fees for card transactions under a certain price. It’s just easier to have cash in hand.

The quality of the donuts is poor in my opinion. If you don't have cash to pay they get a little rude. The price for a 12 donuts is 14.99 I felt it was way way too much for how poor the quality was. The frosting was thin and not consistent. The taste has also gone way down and has been declining for many years now. I do not believe I will return after this last time.

The Donuts are decent. But be careful because they are using a very old cash register which does not calculate the change to be given, and the woman working doesn't do math well and gave us the wrong change in fact she owed us $5. It was good my twelve-year-old grandson was paying attention to the change given, because I certainly was not.
