Destiny Cafe

This is a local dive that's a favorite for some and avoided by others. The food is simple and salty for the most part. There are some slightly novel options with things like Pho, but this isn't a "Vietnamese Restaurant" but rather a cheap Asian fusion place. It's a little grimey, and in an old industrial type of building, but it's not meant to be for the masses rather than the local crowd which love to be regular customers here. I tried the "famous" BBQ beef spring rolls, as well as the BBQ beef on its own and was not impressed. The beef was dry and tough and pre-prepared. The chicken pad thai was decent with garlic hot chilly oil added on top. They sell powder-based iced coffee too, which is not bad at all. Would I recommend it? No. Would I go with friends again?... Sure.

This restaurant has become the worst place I have ever been to. 1. Our table was not cleaned . It was dirty; the seats and table. Our waitress didn't bother to even clean it. All she said was "sorry". 2. They ran out of beef brisket and told me it would take a whole hour... so I ordered something else . Then our waitress comes back after 5 whole minutes to tell me my order was not available because they ran out. So again I order something else. (My boyfriend and I were about to leave and try a different place but decided to just stick through it and hopefully everything else will go good... but that was my mistake.) 3. They gave me my food first before my appetizer... I waited because my boyfriend didn't receive his order and we were still waiting for the appetizers. Finally my appetizer came and they were so small. Upfront at the counter, they have to go food ready and the egg rolls up there were huge. 4. My boyfriend had to wait 15 extra minutes for his. Our waitress stays "sorry" due to the delay of his order. It is very sad to see that my boyfriend couldn't even eat his noodles that included onions because he is severely allergic. He specifically said no Onions. At this point we were lost for words. 5. They didn't even have napkins available and when we asked our waitress she turned around and went straight to the phone and then went to the kitchen and never came back. She was absolutely rude! I decided to go up front to the counter and saw that there was BEEF BRISKETS AVAILABLE!!!! they are liars! Complete lairs! They had so many that were sitting in the food heater! I find it strange that if I didn't dine in I could have gotten my beef brisket to go. I waited for 5 minutes at the counter for someone and finally the waitress came out and asked me what I had wanted . I told her we had asked for napkins 5 minutes ago and she grabbed a few napkins and smacked it into my hands. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. So much attitude and bitchiness. I strongly and sincerely recommend everyone to go elsewhere if they would like to have a good nice out with their friends, family and or significant other. Hope no one ever experiences something like this.

If you love food orgasims, this is the place to eat! This is now called Little Asia cafe. The BBQ pho and spring rolls are so freaking tasty! Try the hmung sausage and bubble tea! I went with my 7 family members I had the best customer service I have had in a long time! I manage a restaurant with the small staff they have, they move fast to help you out! The sides to the pho is fresh and crisp. Always busy place parking is located behind building!
