I loved this coffee shop! It was cozy, plenty of space, & had a variety of different sitting areas to choose from. Compared to other coffee shops the prices are very reasonable & the coffee is good. Finding parking was difficult as you can only park for 15 minutes at the spots right in front of the coffee shop.
Coffee Bene is great! Tasty drinks and a nice atmosphere. Their breakfast sandwich is awesome and worth the price. They don’t usually warm it up quite enough (the veggies are sometimes still cool in the middle), but if you order it extra hot it’ll be no problem.
I've been coming here for years, and just love it. Drinks are good, pretty standard price. Really like the Southwest breakfast sandwich (served all day). Comfortable local coffee shop.
The only drawback is that it can be challenging at times to find a seat, as there are sometimes people sitting at a table of 4 when they are alone, just working on a laptop or something. Frustrating, but no different from other coffee shops in that .
Good place. I think I just ordered coffee and some pastry. I met people here for a group event. There were 12+ of us. We took over tables but there were still tables on the side. If you're planning a meetup, this place might work, depending on your location/time logistics. The service is decent but we stayed longer than they were open, and we went to the attached davanni's pizza for drinks. It worked out for us.
Good selection of drinks, pleasant atmosphere, very convenient location. Parking at the coffee shop itself has a time limit which staff occasionally sit outside to remind you about rather gruffly. There's often parking available in the lot across Grand Ave which isn't timed.
This is a nice, if hit-and-miss coffee shop, one of the occasional independent shops in the neighborhood -- although it is attached the Davani's Pizza and Hoagies nearby. It has the usual contract baked goods, and decent coffee. But it also has a nice meeting room that face Cleveland Avenue. Great place for meetings, gatherings and events.
Great little one-off coffee shop! Very clean, and totally accommodating to groups or solo homework efforts. Their Jamaican-Me-Crazy coffee is totally delicious. The food looks fantastic, too, but I have yet to try it.

Coffee Bené is one of the most excellent coffee shops in Western Saint Paul. The atmosphere is fantastic. The music playing is always lovely (usually vocal pop or acoustic music). This is the only coffee shop I've been to that NEVER has stale pastries - even right before close. The location is nice and calm; it's near the University of Saint Thomas.
