Best waffles! They were fluffy and crunchy and sweet. Seriously great place. Just wish they had lattes and cappuccinos.

The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable on mixing cocktails. The chicken and waffles were very well done. They used handmade strips that were lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. And the handmade waffle cones were excellent. They also have several unique ice cream flavors.

We actually came in the day they opened and have visited twice since then. If you like waffles of any type this is the place to go. I really enjoyed the food. The drinks were decent but the food is definitely the star.

A little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. The waffles were unique and delicious. The waiter was great and literally ran to serve people indoors and on the patio. 10/10 and I’ll definitely be going back.

This is a new restraunt in The Grove. Everything served on a waffle..But wait--these are no ordinary waffles. They are made with a special sugar which carmelizes as it cooks. The edges are crunchy and sweet. That might not sound like much..but wowizingo they are incredible. Nothing like it.

The strawberry dream waffle with added Nutella was amazing. I’ve never had this type of waffle and it is my new favorite. The breakfast potatoes were also very good. 4 stars only because they seem to still be working out the kinks with service, but I will definitely be back.

I had the 'let them eat fruit', and it was freakin' amazing. The whipped cream wasn't too sweet, and the fruit was crisp and fresh.
The waffle was just what I was hoping for. Leige waffles are one of my favorite foods and I'm so glad there's a place serving them so close to home.
The potatoes were good, but there's only so many ways you can make a roasted tuber.
Didn't experienced the long wait other people have reported.
Overall 10/10 would go again.

I had the most wonderful experience at Iron and Rye! I ordered the "brie-on-pear-fection" waffle which was amazing! It had fresh pears and a balsamic glaze drizzled on top of a waffle with an onion jam and I was in heaven.
The bartender is knowledgeable and makes excellent drinks!
Great for an evening bite in a homey welcoming space. I will be coming back here for sure.

Sooooo happy this delightful breakfast spot opened in the Grove! They’re still finding their footing & the service can take a while. Sit back, enjoy a cocktail, and have some patience as they make those delicious waffles! Definitely worth the wait. We visited 2 Sundays in a row. The food was perfect and the staff was really friendly both times. We’ve tried the pioneer (original), Farm Apple, Brie on Pear, Goat (w avocado) and the Manchester Strip. I cannot stop raving about Iron & Rye to my friends!

I have been waiting for a legit Liege Waffle place to show up in St. Louis and it is finally here. The hours are quite limited during the week so it took me a while to go. It did not disappoint. The Liege waffles were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. If it wasn't for the pile of toppings, it would have been handheld.
