Customer service was excellent. He was very patient while taking my phone order, attentive when I arrived. The food was great besides crab Rangoon (little withered) but egg foo young, fried rice, St. Paul all was delicious! Only bad thing was the area, but I can deal with that.
The Harlem Tap Room is a landmark in St. Louis city. It was there before I was born.
Small little shot gun style bar. Everyone knows each other . And if you are a stranger, it will not be for long. Drinks are great. They don't serve food, but you can order out. Once a week, the provider prepares a small buffet for the regulars . Dart boards are there for your pleasure. And great music. There is security for the bar, and they will walk you to your car when leaving. Security was very visible inside and out. I felt safe . It was my first time at the Harlem Tap Room . The age group is 40"s and up, with a few younger people. But not enough to make you nervous if you like an older crowd. Just a neighborhood k8nd of bar.
Service was very friendly and fast -- and for $6.50 I got fried rice, two crab rangoon, an egg roll, and a can of Vess. I'm subtracting a star because the crab rangoon were old, too hard and crunchy on the outside, and a little lumpy and tough on the inside. I plan on coming back without ordering the crab rangoon.
Crab Rangoon was disgusting and fried in old grease. Fried wings were thin. You get one red pepper per order or there is a fee for additional.
Their food is horrible. It always has a burnt taste to it, and the rice is always hard. I would not recommend eating at this place. It really needs to be closed down.
Best china men in the city! They egg foo young gravy 🔥🔥 they used to be open. Til 3am Sunday Saturday night and Sunday morning it didn't matter long as orders kept coming in !!?? I come all the way from da soouff side pl 💯🔥❤️
Pure heavenly good food with no nonsense. Too good!!
The rice very dry , the crab Rangoon was very over cooked
One of the best around. Food is really good, and the owners are nice. Only Fried Rice, place that is open until 2am. It is in the hood, (Welston), be alert, watch your back, and have some balls. You'll survive to enjoy the food. It's worth it. I have never had a any problems. The fried chicken, and rice are delicious. You must try it.
Friend chicken was great. Great prices and they open til 1am even better. The dark rice was good wasnt the best but def better then most places. We will be back esp since they are open late that's perfect. I like the deal that they have going on with a $15 to get a free soda.
