BEST CHINESE IN STL!
I’m seeing these bad reviews scratching my head because I’ve been eating her rather regularly since I was in college. I live near by and I order at least 2x a month. The Kung Poa Chicken meal is so flavorful and the sauce is well seasoned. The rice is always kickin. Their General Tso’s chicken is so perfectly made and so garlicy!!!! I can’t get enough of this place. I’ve legit never had a bad experience with them and my buddies and I will meet up here often for food.
I can not imagine giving 1 star because of missed sauces. Some of y’all are unforgiving and bitter.
Be very specific when you order. There is an extensive menu, generous portions on the combo dinner (special egg foo yung). It was very good, but no sauce was put on the sweet and sour pork. We called the restaurant and they sent the driver back with some. No chopsticks provided by the restaurant.
Dine in with distancing is open. The food is still great. And reasonably priced.
I run Postmates orders from here all the time and they are always fast and accurate. Easily one of my favorite pick up locations. Finally decided to get an order for myself in my free time and understand why they get so many orders delivered. I got an order of ham and shrimp fried rice and it may very well be one of the best. Affordable prices plus they're open on Sunday.
My best friend and I always frequent Hon's Wok. Their food is always good. They also have the best crab rangoon in St. Louis. Everyone there is always polite; and they make sure that your order is correct. Their prices are reasonable. One of my favorite eateries!
I work across the street from Hon's Wok, and I have enjoyed the convenience and very-reasonably priced food many times for lunch. The other night my wife and I traveled from our home in Illinois to Hon's Wok for Orange Chicken, which is far and above some of the best in the Metro St. Louis area. We got there, and my wife realized she had left her credit/debit card at home, and Hon's does not normally accept checks. However, since they clearly felt empathy in our having to go all the way back to Illinois, they made an exception and took our check, regardless. That was far and above one of the kindest things that a business could have done; going outside their established policies to take a chance on a personal check in order to satisfy their customer. I will continue to be a repeat customer. The pricing, the quality, and the customer service is well above the rest.
P.S. One thing of note: In all the times I have gone to Hon's, I have never seen one of them smile. Strange, I know. But it may just be their temperament (it is clear that they are a family in a family-run business). However, on the contrary, they have never, EVER, been rude to me, only business-like, and I believe the lack of smiles is what is driving many people to give them low star ratings. If the absence of a smile bothers you, then go somewhere else. Me, personally, I have no qualms with it, whatsoever. The service is good, the food is great, and the price can't be beat!

I have never had a problem with this place. Usually order lunch and whether it be delivery to my office or carry out I have always been happy. I only order one dish, General Tso's Chicken and egg drop soup, but the chicken has always been crispy and the sauce tasty (if not always spicy enough, but it is hard to find anyone that serves it spicy enough). I will get lunch their again no doubt.
