I was looking for a good local Chinese take-out place in my neighborhood, and came here for the first time and really enjoyed it. This is a pretty decent Chinese take-out place in South County (I have been to many Chinese take-outs in St. Louis.... and many lack quality, and lack service especially).
This place looked clean, there was ample parking (it's in the Dierberg's strip mall), the lady at the desk was both friendly and sharp, I got my pick-up order efficiently with very little wait, and the food was good. Their crab rangoon was great. I ordered the Chicken Kung Pao and it was very flavorful and spicy as I like it. My partner and I are very particular about our Chinese and Mexican food, and this place got the thumbs-up from us.
The value is good too (big servings for what you pay). I don't understand the reviews saying the portions are "small"? I would have to strongly disagree. The Half size for entrees are pretty HUGE, I couldn't imagine eating the Whole size they offer... (P.S. - as far as combo plates at Chines take-outs in general go, they are actually *supposed* to be smaller servings... if you want a bigger serving, consider getting the Half size entrees).
I got the special egg foo young and the special fried rice. They were both excellent quality, taste and huge portions.
This was my first trip to Lemay Garden. I ordered Beef Chop Suey, Chicken Fried Rice and a Shrimp St. Paul. The food looked very appealing and tasted delicious. The owners were very nice and welcoming.

The food was amazing! I had the bourbon chicken with pork fried rice and my husband had the general tso. Highly recommend both. We also had 2 different types of dumplings that were just as amazing. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly. This was a really cute and clean environment and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will make this a regular place.
The owner of this place is so sweet an just an awesome person. We were aware that she has recently had some health issues so we always tip well, she totally deserves it! Anyway, try the crab Rangoon, pork buns, and Thai tea (it tastes like graham crackers)! Orange chicken from here is true love!
It's good. I wish the Togo portions were larger, but that's a personal opinion. The hot and sour could be spicier, but I still order it. Sadly google maps keeps saying they delivery and they don't. Don't let that keep you from coming out and trying them.
Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting average Chinese takeout and was given full service and flavor at takeout prices. If I had known I would have tipped more; as you pay at the counter before you sit down to eat.! I will definitely be back!!!

The Scorpion Wings are so addicting! If you love hot, these are a must try! Firecracker chicken is another favorite. Very good crab Rangoon
