Starbucks

I don't go in to get our drinks as my crippling disabilities keep me from venturing very much. But my home healthcare worker grabs them for us. And I will confess that I once used to let a different coffee shop make my white chocolate mocha drinks because they were unsurpassed. But the location in Olivette has slapped that place around and storm me lmao

I go to this location pretty much every Friday as a treat to myself before starting my day. The service is always great. This morning, I was told that they were out of the first 4 items I tried to order. The barista was extremely apologetic, and offered multiple alternatives to the things I wasn't able to order. I think he could tell that I was disappointed, and after I set down to wait he brought me a card for $4 off my next order (thanks!!). This location cares about their customers!

This is a chain / franchise establishment and appears to operate within the required parameters. The place appears to be clean. Staff appear to have been trained. I assume this location has passed the health inspection. If you have not been to a Starbucks before: size tall is a small, grande is medium, venti is large. The drinks tend to be on the pricy side so idk why someone would ever order plain drip coffee (buy the grounds and make it at home people). I like sugar free vanilla soy lattes. Tastes like heaven.

I think for the most part, everyone knows Starbucks. What they do they do to a standard that they created and proliferated to the world. That being said, for me it comes down to the employees in a given location. This one has a fun morning staff that works well together and upholds the Starbucks standard. Do they make an espresso similar to what you get in Milan? Of course not, however, if you are seeking that go to Milan!!!! Stop judging your local coffee shop to unrealistic standards. And........... Make it a Great Day!!

My go to coffee spot every time I land in STL on a 6am flight. The staff are top notch and friendly, and the location is typically very convenient. Pro Tip: don't go into the shopping center from the front entrance directly on Olive, go through the side off the cross street. Also, there is no drive-through here so be prepared to go in. Lastly, they get a LOT of mobile orders so while they are damn quick for the volume they put out, they're not sitting there waiting to make your order on the spot, which is fair.
