Fun little coffee shop with a convenience grocery. You're greeted with various colorful flags draped over the seating area, which includes a couple game board tables. Comfortable ambiance, very friendly staff, and they serve Chauvin coffee.
Went to meet someone and have a coffee, stayed for the speed chess and more coffee. Bodega-type place with a little bit of everything from local ice cream to microwave Indian food, greeting cards and smoked pig snout dog treats? Great little postcards, if you need a souvenir. The woman behind the counter was SO nice! Could def see myself wilin' away a day here, on the sidewalk, watching the St Louis world go by.
Fun little downtown grocery and coffee shop combo. Fresh produce and some healthy options are also available!
Went here just to chill with my family before I left for college, and it was an amazing experience. The coffee and smoothies are absolutely amazing, and the food is homemade and well worth the price. The man behind the counter (has a ponytail) had amazing customer service skills. Definitely recommend.
Great small-town feel general store/coffee shop that has a nice variety of snacks, drinks, grocery and around-the-house handy items with a local appeal.
Maggie is very personable/kind and a great help. Todd has always been great, also.
Don't miss this quaint and friendly general store/coffee shop.
The Post is a god-send for downtown residents. The groceries are limited but somehow the post always has everything we need when we're missing an ingredient or two last minute. Great beverage selection in the freezer and from the cafe. Their smoothies are some of the best downtown. We love stopping for a game of chess or to chat with a friend or two that always happens to be there. Wallet friendly, dog friendly, and people friendly
An amazing place with a genuine hometown feel. Todd the barista is a fantastic human that also happens to be a fantastic barista. He’s a true professional, and he’s a friend to anyone that walks through the door. Very chill seating area with booths and couches available. This is a great place to bring your book or laptop, enjoy the vibes of the place, and get some work done without being jammed behind your desk. A recommend this place a million times over.
This is a great little store with that family-owned atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and at-home. This "convenience shop" I guess you'd call it, sells some great food, makes awesome coffee, and has all the staple pantry items you need. What makes this place a 5-star, though, is definitely their friendly service and attitudes that every one of their employees has for the customers. Would come here time and time again for my caffeine and staple grocery needs!
Such a cool convenient store on Washington Avenue. I love the walking distance from my downtown loft! It's the coolest little store I love sharing with family and friends who are visiting. The people, coffee drinks, smoothies, food options, and having essential meal ingredients make this place a jewel in the rough.
Jen from Washington Ave Post did the most wonderful candles in tins for inclusion in wedding welcome bags for guests at my son's recent wedding. Wonderful assortment of scents. Fabulous to work with, especially as I was organizing things from NY!
