Soup Dumplings Stl

Consider the bowl of what looks like water. Surprisingly it's actually a bowl of chicken consommé, what the French call a clear soup. It is the most wonderfully delicious tasting chicken soup I have ever tasted from anywhere. They make their soup dumplings fresh to order and their wontons are also some other kind of wonderful. As can be expected, it's the little things they do, these simple acts of refinement that make all the difference. Well made dumplings, for a first timer, I am impressed with the way they tasted. Very, very delicious. All dumplings are made to perfection and I will definitely be making a visit to go again. The place is a bit small, so when it gets busy the place gets crowded quickly, so if you want your dumplings and a place to sit, I would go at a time where it’s a bit slower. And I forgot to snag a picture :( 10/10 though, highly recommend trying this place, I had the chicken dumplings.

Food- The food overall was fantastic! The dumplings were being made in the back when we walked in. To see the attention to detail and precision in this process was amazing. The texture of the dumplings was soft and held together well. Inside was the broth and filling which was flavorful and delicious. Now the braised pork was full of flavor and had a soft-melt in your mouth texture. The sauce that it is braised in complements the fresh rice as well. Overall, this food was amazing and for the price it is more than worth it! Atmosphere- The restaurant itself is nice and clean. Sadly, it lacks the space to sit down. This place can get pretty busy when it comes to lunch and there are not enough seats to sit down. That would be the only drawback that I would say about this resturant. The staff is extremely friendly!
