Kabul Express

I apologize for three things. One my mango lassi did not make it home to be in the photo it was just too good. Two I didn’t care to take good photos I was too excited to eat. Three that I didn’t try this place sooner. When I walked in the man who greeted me was incredibly sweet. Had to leave to cook the food himself and even apologized for a wait that did not take long at all. The food is absolutely incredible. So fresh and flavorful. I will be back a million times and I will be bringing new friends every time.

This place is wonderful. Clean, friendly and oh so delicious! I just had some of the best samosas I have ever had. The taste and the texture were fantastic. The green dipping sauce was great. Everything tasted clean and the herbs spices melded together perfectly. It surprised me as being the comfort food I needed today. I hope to make this a regular stop in my meals.

I stay right around the corner from this place and visited again yesterday to try their spicy gyro. 10/10🤤 The atmosphere is very clean, aesthetic and beautiful. The owner was very polite and nice, took my order, cooked my food and brought it out to me (true hustler). I’ve been here before for the chicken and beef tikka masalas as well as the veggie sombosas which are also a 10/10 with the pita/nan bread. If you are wanting something different,  yet extraordinary I strongly recommend you give Kabul Express STL a try.  Kauash the owner is AMAZING and makes his entrées with his own twist. Appetizers Eggplant with Pita is one of my absolute favorites and what always brings me back for more.  The falafel with tzatziki and hummus with garlic pita is also superb. Entrées, Butter Chicken,  Beef Kabob over rice with jalapeños chutney are mouth watering. You won't be disappointed with the great customer service,  the new location is beautiful, spacious and has enough room to hold family gatherings or parties. Kauash will cater your event with the most amazing,  mouth watering,  delicious food and desserts. Please take the time to visit Kauash at Kabul Express for so great food.

My husband and I took a stay-cation and came to this restaurant after a good friend raved about Kabul Express STL! I was not disappointed at all! Kauash, the owner, makes all the dishes and his customer service was outstanding! He is such a nice man! Great presentation, great concept , and great execution! We ordered 3 dishes to share. We got the Falafel wrap, the butter chicken over rice and the Chicken Schwarma over rice. Desert was a pistachio, rose water ice cream in a sugar cone bowl! The flavors were amazing and dishes, delicious (say that 10 times fast!) The only thing I don’t like? I don’t live close enough to eat here everyday!!! I would love to see Kauash do a food truck, expand to a west county location, or somehow share with more people. This restaurant is a secret that should not be kept!
