Red Door Chinese Eatery

The flounder is excellent! It arrived crisp hot and delicious with flavorful steamed broccoli elevating the crunchy fish from the styrofoam. Be sure to have the sauteed green beans as well! Thankfully I live ten blocks from Red Door, and the gentleman delivered directly to my apartment. Thanks to all the staff, and Chef Wang Rocks!

Canadians may find it hard to find meals with a finer dining as we're accustomed to. So try Red Door. The food there was enjoyed the most during our visit. We did take-out twice. Great job by Chef Wang. We had: General Tso Chicken with white rice, chicken lo mein, beef & brocoli with fried rice, and 1 egg roll. The 2nd time was just the General Tso Chicken with white rice. Each individual packaged prepped for take out. Walking distance from most hotels and the American center.

While staying at the drury inn at union station this place was on the list of locals that delivered to the hotel. I liked the person on the phone spoke and understood English well. I always fear ordering from Chinese restaurants over the phone as sometimes the order gets messed up due to a language barrier. I was told up front 1 hour for delivery which was fine. Driver showed up early and called before he arrived to let me know he was close to the hotel. Service and food was excellent. Fried rice is some of the best I've ever had. Sesame chicken was awesome as well. Portions were standard for this type of cuisine. My main reason for not giving a full five stars is price. For two entrees and a side of rice, I feel $40 was too much. Maybe I'm crazy but $30 would have been more acceptable. Could be due to the location and being in St Louis. Overall I would highly recommend.
