The wine here is absolutely amazing. We were promptly and happily greeted when we came in, but had to track someone down to get a refill or the bill.

UPDATE 2023: Still an incredible place to go. Still love it. 5/5. Come here. I took my first wine class here. James, the owner/proprietor, is inviting and teaches a great class on wine.
I would venture to say that it is the best wine bar in town. The owners really make the experience. They now serve absinthe with the cool contraption in the picture. There is a fireplace in the back room and patio is also quaint on a summer's night
I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.
I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.
Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.

I have moved from the area, half hour away, and I still am a regular. Because why wouldn’t I? They are the best wine shop in town.

Great wine selection. The staff AND customers were so friendly, making it very easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. You can tell that this place has regular customers which is a great indicator of the service and selection. Good ambiance and clean establishment.
Here for a wine class on Alsace wines. The proprietor is also a sommelier. Detailed, informative, and a broad selection of wines to sample - 9 different ones! Place is loud when full but eclectic crowd, great conversations.
One of the best St. Louis wine bars! If you're on the hunt for local wine bars in St. Louis -- this one's a hidden gem. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent wine selection and a great cheese board. Seriously, by far the best wine bar downtown St. Louis! The atmosphere is chill, fun and trendy. Not to mention, the best patio wine bar in St. Louis!
Great selection and the staff were more than willing to help me out with choices and tastings (I'm a novice). The atmosphere was classy yet casual. There were customers in business suits and women in yoga pants who had just finished class next door.
Prices were mid-range for a wine bar in the area, making it a great option for after work drinks.
