UPDATE 2023: Still an incredible place to go. Still love it. 5/5. Come here. I took my first wine class here. James, the owner/proprietor, is inviting and teaches a great class on wine.

The wine here is absolutely amazing. We were promptly and happily greeted when we came in, but had to track someone down to get a refill or the bill.

Here for a wine class on Alsace wines. The proprietor is also a sommelier. Detailed, informative, and a broad selection of wines to sample - 9 different ones! Place is loud when full but eclectic crowd, great conversations.

I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.
I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.
Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.

I have moved from the area, half hour away, and I still am a regular. Because why wouldn’t I? They are the best wine shop in town.

This is a great wine bar. Five stars for great customer service. Very clean and has a relaxing patio. One visit here and you find out why it's the best wine bar in St. Louis.

Great wine selection. The staff AND customers were so friendly, making it very easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. You can tell that this place has regular customers which is a great indicator of the service and selection. Good ambiance and clean establishment.

This is a great place to have a few glasses of wine with good friends. They have great selections for pours by the glass and a long list of bottles. When it’s chilly, the front room is super cozy for conversation and when the weather is nice, the back patio is great!
