I would venture to say that it is the best wine bar in town. The owners really make the experience. They now serve absinthe with the cool contraption in the picture. There is a fireplace in the back room and patio is also quaint on a summer's night

I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.
I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.
Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.

Great selection and the staff were more than willing to help me out with choices and tastings (I'm a novice). The atmosphere was classy yet casual. There were customers in business suits and women in yoga pants who had just finished class next door.
Prices were mid-range for a wine bar in the area, making it a great option for after work drinks.

This is a great place to have a few glasses of wine with good friends. They have great selections for pours by the glass and a long list of bottles. When it’s chilly, the front room is super cozy for conversation and when the weather is nice, the back patio is great!

Very knowledgable staff and a great wine selection. Glasses of wine averaged around $10. The outdoor patio seating is plain, but does the job and the interior is very cute. Their food selection consists of only basic charcuterie and cheese - a board with 2 cheese and 3 meet selections ran $18 which seemed quite expensive for St. Louis and for what you were served. The selection and price of food is the only reason I'm giving 33 4 stars.

After all of these years, they have only gotten better. James and team continue to go above and beyond. The staff is knowledgeable and is also willing to spend the time to understand what sort of wine (from their deep collection) is best for you, for that visit.

1st time going there and it was to see a live performance.This is in the back of the bar and outside. I liked it and would go again when some other performance comes up that I want to see. Sooooooooooo much fun! It happened to be packed the night I went. Had a great time.
