Really really tasty sushi burritos and poke bowls—can’t believe I didn’t try this place sooner. I am already planning what I am going to get next. Be aware that there isn’t much room to sit and eat—I suggest taking out if there are more than two people in your group.
My friends have been talking this place up for months, if not years. When this out-of-town friend came to spend the week in the area, we made a Friday afternoon lunch date to the city with four adults and two toddlers. My only complaint about the dining space is that it's much too small for a place that makes such fantastic and unique food.
I've never had another opportunity outside of BLK MKT Eats to have a sushi burrito. I thought there would be too much rice holding it all together and it would dampen the flavors on the inside, but that was far from the case. The burritos are wrapped in seaweed, so if that's not your thing, you can order a bowl instead. My husband and I ordered the regular OG Fire and large Tiger Style burritos. Both were too big for either of us to finish. The burritos are cut in half and we were able to easily share them with one another. I preferred the Tiger Style burrito, the tempura added a much-needed crunch.
The staff were so kind, helpful, and cheery. It felt like a good work environment where people genuinely enjoyed what they were doing.
Really delicious! Great service. The only thing I'd mention is that this is not the type of place to sit and enjoy a peaceful meal. More of a grab n go type of place.
Excellent flavors and choices! Answered many questions. Enjoyed my poke bowl. My sons tasty as cluck chicken was super salty. They were quick to substitute a new role for him. Veteran/Military friendly. Thank you all for the great food and great service!
First time back in St. Louis in a while and I have to say, this place has probably the most innovative sushi/burrito combination. It can get a bit messy, but if you use a fork and keep it on a plate, then you will be fine. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and almost organic-like. The regular portion exceeded my expectations and the taste almost made my buds jump off my tongue. One of the must go-to places, if you like sushi, but with an interesting spin on how it's prepped, packaged and served.
Will definitely come back again, and highly recommend them.
Omg this fed my soul lol great vegan option yummy 🤤 I had the vegan (mushroom) one and hubby had the chicken one… service was excellent
Prepare napkins but it is totally worth it!
I enjoyed it a lot. Really neat packaging.
Pricing is really good for the area. I am definitely coming back.
Very kind staff. The black-haired girl was very sweet.
Try to eat immediately.
Only negative is that parking is hard. I recommend you park nearby and do a quick walk.
Menu is rather limited but the sushi rolls & poke were very fresh & tasty. They also allow substitutions which makes the limited menu not so bad. They have a small trendy seating area and fun neon signs!
Tried them out today. Friend and I split the Tiger and Cali Gold burritos. Very tasty. The Cali Gold was my favorite, loved the addition of the fresh vegies to lighten it up and give it a good crunch. Would definitely go back. It's small inside, so unless you get lucky and snag one of the few seats, would probably say it's a good to-go option. Guys behind the counter were great. Overall, highly recommend!
Customer service was 5 stars all day. Restaurant is clean and cozy. The soda fountain options were not the norm but still fun try and tasty. We got two rolls Cali Gold and Tasty of Cluck. Both were good. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 stars was because the sushi rice was around on the nori and made it soggy. Parking is very limited from what I saw. But def coming back here again and will update.
