Italian restaurants I like to try their speg. and meat balls to see just how good or bad it is.
And theirs is pretty good , sure there are places that have better .
I'm really surprised that their rating is so low, they have a pretty good crowd .
I also had a salad and it was great , and the lady who waited on us was very good.
Yea we will return and we recommend you try here and give us your opinion.
Food was very tasty. Will have to try their pasta next. I had a 9 inch pizza for lunch and split an order of the Italian fried cheese. Both were delicious!
Good food prices are reasonable plenty of parking

Best Beef Mudega!. My husband and I have been coming here for over 30 years. We've never had a bad meal here, ever! The salad is fantastic as well as the pasta con broccoli. And the beef mudega? I need to have it every so often or I go into withdrawal. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I know Macaroni Grill is just down the street and their food is also good, but please don't forget Rich & Charlie's!
Haven't been disappointed in 36 years. I remember eating Toasted Ravioli at this location when I was two years old. That's been a long, long time ago. I live out of state now, and when I get back to the Lou, this is one of the FIRST places I always go. The salad, the toasted ravioli, the Tutte Mare, yummmmmmmm....To me, Rich 'n Charlies IS St. Louis.
Our first time eating here. My husband enjoyed his pasta. The boys loved the boneless wings, hamburger, and fries! A nice and cozy atmosphere. The only thing was, unfortunately, the salad was slightly wilted, and there was too much dressing.
Incredible food, fast & friendly service, mind-blowing prices!
Only thing I regret, is that we didn't come here sooner.

I’ve always liked this restaurant, I like their pasta..specially penne ala vodka. The service is good too and the atmosphere, decor, etc is very nice…however they do not take reservations and we went with a party of 11 people, so after waiting for them to set something up for the group, they put two tables together and a separate booth when they actually or probably could of just set up 3 tables so we could all sit together. Still a nice place for dinner.
I grew up on the pasta house company so I had a good idea what I was getting into. The salad is absolutely amazing! The bread was a bit different, still very good but the ice cold butter was hard to spread. Got the steak mudega and it was tender and one of the best I ever had. It would be nice if they had sweet tea also. They only offer brewed tea and fountain raspberry tea. The waitress might have been having a bad day but her attitude wasn't the most welcoming. It was in no way worth complaining over as I understand the way the restaurant industry is going with staff.
I had the shrimp Alfredo. Everything comes in generous portions. I would've preferred a less amount of the sauce. It just seemed smothered. It was still good though. They also bring out some bread and salad. The bread was a good hit with our group. Service was quick and very considerate despite us arriving 45 mins before closing.
My family and I have dined in or ordered takeout from this restaurant since I can remember and I'm 46 now. From the chicken Alfredo, my father always ordered (God rest his soul) to the cannelloni my mother has me pick up for her because it's too hard for her to travel. And now my daughters 4 and 7, the 3rd generation of Rich and Charlie's fans that actually ask me to order them a salad with their meal. (from ONLY here though) 😭So from the Dunphy 🇮🇪 family 🇮🇹 , Thank you for the many memories you gave our family and delicious food!
Another nice restaurant in South County. The atmosphere is very family friendly, and the sports TVs will keep sport fans entertained while waiting for the food.
Prices at this restaurant are very reasonable and the service is better than many places I have been to. The calamari was outrageously delicious; the best that I have had in town.
Our pasta dishes were prepared to please even picky palates. The portions were generous as well. This restaurant will be on my favorite list.
We had a get together with some friends here and the food was great but service was lacking ambiance was mid.
Good evening! My husband and I enjoyed dinner at your South County location on Sept 7, 2023. It has been on our list for years to try and we are so glad we did. I have the Eggplant Parmagiana which was to die for! My husband had the Chicken Emil...when he said "I had no idea I liked lemon sauce" I knew it was gonna be great. We were equally impressed with our server, Ashley. She is exactly the kind of impression you want for your clients. She was warm, funny, engaging and very knowledgeable about the entire menu. She is definitely a perk and we will inquire as to her section at our next visit. We cannot wait to bring our family over! Compliments to the entire staff. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a great end to our night.
