Boathouse Forest Park

Nice sit by the lake. The place is beautiful. Now, at the beginning of the fall, the decorations are so nice. It is well located next to the lake. During the day you can see people paddling in the lake, or see the sunset in the evening. Food is as good as any bar food. Plates are abundant and prices are fair. The servers are great, kind and efficient. The time for them to close for the winter is coming soon. It is absolutely a worthy visit. Would recommend, if possible, to go on a warmer day I'll be back!

Babes brought me here on a surprise lunch date and we had such a good time! The vibes were everything! Started off with paddle boating and if you haven't tried it do it we had our ice coffees on the lake in the sunshine it was like a relaxing workout lol, then had lunch there the food was so good and their lemonade and lavender vodka slushies was soooo delicious 😋 ik how lemonade and lavender sounds but hunty give it a whirl.

Their private event space is wonderful and their staff outstanding! We hosted a rehearsal dinner, followed by a welcome party and everyone had a fantastic time! We brought most decorations the day of and it was beautiful! The bride had a garlic allergy and they made her a special dish to ensure no issues!

Very pretty place to sit next to the lake and have a drink and/or some food. They have seats in doors and outside. But why sit next to the water if you are going to sit inside? You can order at the bar or have table service. We had the salads for $13. Plus $6 for a protein. It was very good and a very generous portion. I recommend this place for a nice relaxing time to just sit and chill and enjoy the ambience.

The boathouse with the paddle boats and the restaurant had a beautiful scenery. Rent please take someone on a first date. Or your family and your kids, the paddle boats are safe. It's excellent very long paddle if you take the long route because there are different routes you can take. The only one thing that would have been nice is if I had thought about grabbing a map as to which route takes you to which area.

The boathouse or “The Forest Park Yacht Club” is a great place to get food and drinks after a long day at the park. The food is delicious and the portions are pretty big, but chances are you’ve already burned those calories playing golf or exercising at the park;) The outdoor bar usually has a good selection of canned beer, as well as local brews from 4 Hands and UCBC on tap. The portions are huge and the food is well made. My wife had the chicken Salad Croissant and it was FULL of chicken salad. She said it was a sweeter lightly seasoned flavor, and that you’ll want to keep some napkins handy. I got the Smokehouse Burger, and that thing is enormous! It’s a smash burger patty topped with pulled pork, and not just a little bbq either. If you want a healthier option, their salmon salad is amazing, and I’ve gotten it a couple times. If you do wind up eating too much, just go rent a kayak or paddle boat to burn off some calories cruising the lagoons.
