We had the pleasure of eating there yesterday morning. We loved it!! The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. And better yet the three ladies working had not only been there for 30 years plus but, they are sisters. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Thank you, for a great experience.
Awesome old fashioned diner food, patty melt on regular white bread, chili smothered nacho chips and cheese, chili dog and the prices are great !!!
Loved this place. The food is inexpensive, good and served quickly. I ordered the hot tamale with chili and eggs on top. Coming from AZ it wasn’t the worlds best Tamale but it was still really good and I loved that it was covered in a yummy chili. The homes fries were also delicious. The staff were friendly and made some great recommendations. If you’re in St. Louis this is a must if you like old school diners.
I love me some hole in the wall diners! It was a cute atmosphere and reminded me of home. The food isn’t anything fancy, but it hit the spot! I had a grilled cheese and fries - just as expected. It was plain white bread, Kraft singles, and frozen shoestrings. I loved every second of it! For two people, the total came out to $22 bucks!
This place is a hidden gem. Fantastic little diner and the breakfast is really good and at a great price! These ladies are killing it and I recommend stopping in for some good home cooked food!
Old school diner. Prices are crazy fair. The team of ladies that run this place are great!! If you are in the area don’t miss out on a great traditional breakfast spot!
Great little diner. Very affordable. The food was smaller portion, but it is ridiculously inexpensive. If you have a huge appetite, order two plates. 🤷🏻♂️😂
What a great little jewel in downtown Saint Louis. I skipped out on the boring mass food at the hotel convention and found Chili Mac Diner. Not only was lunch including a tip only $10, but it is nostalgic, and the service was super fast and friendly. I had the Chili Mac and it was delicious. The small size was plenty for lunch.
This is a perfect little greasy spoon diner. Had breakfast here and really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The staff was beautifully friendly and welcoming. The prices are also unbelievably cheap. This is a downtown St. Louis gem.
The friendliest restaurant staff I’ve ever experienced! They all make you feel so welcomed. Can’t beat the price for what you’re getting either. This diner is perfect slice of Americana!
Small old school Mom and Pop style breakfast diner. Got scrambled eggs and sausage patties which were delicious but the biscuits and gravy were quite bland. The food was good and the service was welcoming and friendly. The bill came out to $39 for two which was a great deal. I highly recommend.
Phenomenal food, pricing, and service. I ordered the French toast and it’s some of the best I’ve had. It’s an old school diner so expect as such, the servers were a joy to interact with! 10/10 would recommend, Chili Mac’s is a must stop if you’re in the St Louis area
