Always have THE best food here! I recommend the Dinty Moore, but I've never had a bad meal no matter what. It's all yummy and homemade. Service is always spot on, especially for such a busy place! Easy access by land or water.

Such a wonderfully unique place to grab a bite to eat! The food is far superior to your regular 'bar food.' The portions are quite large and can easily be shared. But with so many tasty homemade choices, you may just want to share more than one delicious item. And I'm a huge fan of leftovers for breakfast! You'll enjoy fast and friendly service from the entire staff. And if you happen to need a place to spend the night, I highly recommend The Murphy Inn. The rooms all have private bathrooms and each has their own special charm. It's a treat just to peek into the rooms to see how each is decorated. Since it's an old, old building you can expect it to feel and behave like one. To me, that makes it all the better. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and would not hesitate to stay again. It's such a beautiful area as well. It has the feel of being 'up north' (a Michigan thing) without the huge hassle of driving there. While you're in the area, be sure to check out the incredible ships making their way up or down the St. Clair River.
Best liver and onions I've had in a long time. The chopped bacon and onions on top was a perfect combination. The black bean soup was very flavorful. The folks their are nice and attentive. The atmosphere is laid back, and a welcoming place for families. The building has a lot of history. Great place to visit.
Irish Egg Rolls are awesome! I believe we got 6 in the order and our wonderful server brought out 1000 island and honey mustard for dipping. Surprisingly, I think I liked the honey mustard better, but both went very well. I ordered the Murphy Chicken Wrap and was very happy with my choice! Delicious! Thank you!
I frequent Murphy's inn typically once a month. The food and service has always been good for the last year or so that I've been going, particularly their Fish and chips.
I usually rate service based in no small part on how often i can get a drink refill without having to flag someone down, since i can drink up to 10 glasses of water with a meal. I've never had to flag anyone down here, the staff is very attentive
Food here is outstanding, this a great place to bring family, friends or come by yourself. Price vs what you get is in the customer's favor for sure. If you haven't already been here you should definitely try it out, you will not be disappointed.
The lenten daily specials are amazing!!! Service is spot on. Food is excellent & generous portions. Monday is 1/2 off pizza,delicious! Clean & neat, highly recommend.
Monday's are half off for a nice large pizza and it is large but everything on the menu is good, wings, salads, burgers are huge can't go wrong with anything you order just go hungry.
