Best Buffalo Burger. Whenever I find myself East side, I have to have a buffalo burger from Gilbert's. I don't know what makes it so much more flavorful and juicy than other places, maybe the meat is fresher, I don't know.
Gilbert's is a family friendly pub/restaurant with a fun, cheesy Hunting Lodge theme. There are animal heads on the walls, lots of exposed wood, and the otherwise standard bar fare is enhanced with a few Trapper touches, such as Moose Wings, Bear Claws, etc.
The bar itself is not amazing. Not much selection. A Blue Moon is the only option for beer snobs, maybe a Stella. But Oh! That Buffalo Burger!!!
Go there. Worked there one summer...great food, great people, very affordable. Try the pizza!

I understand from my sister that we had lunch with here, that the place has been around forever.
They've got good comfort food and we had a real nice time oh, don't forget the big chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert!
Can't say enough positive things about my experience. The ambiamce was calming and the bartender Michelle was attentive and helpful, the wine was fresh, making the food taste even better! I went with the baked spaghetti and was full 1/4 way through my plate. Well definitely be back!
I'm admitting my age, but the last time I was here was nearly 50 years ago! We came for dinner as a group of 5 and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Wonderful server... Excellent food and drink... All in a friendly atmosphere were were could actually carry a conversation around our table ( no loud music!)
I grew up here but live in the Pacific NW now, but I'll be back!
The food was absolutely delicious! Our server must have been having a rough night because she seemed a bit moody, but we didn't let that spoil our evening. Excellent atmosphere and overall vibe. Prices and quality is on point. We will definitely be back!
Such a nice place. You feel like you’re up north in a log cabin. They have a train that goes around the ceiling which was cool. The staff was amazing and the food was perfect! The menu has a lot to choose and everything tastes so good. Will be coming back again soon
Great place, good food. While there the last time, we were there with a funeral luncheon. Food took forever. But was good. There was not enough room to seat our whole party together which was a bit disappointing. But we were able to work with what we had.
Good food with a bar/grill experience & lodge type atmosphere. The chicken parmesan garlic wings were good & so was the cheese bread. Carry out is quick. There is plenty of parking. Service is usually pretty good. They also have a room thank can be used for large groups which is nice.
First time here and did not disappoint! We ordered the Nachos and a Supreme pizza and it was fantastic! Our server was friendly and fast. What a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back 👍😊 Update.. Been back and just as good as the first time.
