Very relaxed laid back atmosphere. Great food I had my sandwich baptized ( whole sandwich dipped in gravy ) 😋 excellent price and just right seasoned 🍟
Buona is pretty fire and I’m glad they ended up putting on at this location. We usually like getting the salads here with extra Italian beef on top. The presentation when you pull it out of the bag too is just mouthwatering too. Looks so fire. I also felt a little frisky the other night and ordered their Chicago style dog for some reason. It was actually pretty dang good for a quick bite.
We come to this location a couple of times per year as we go to an event at the fairgrounds. The food is excellent as with other Buona Beef locations. I usually get the middle size beef with fries and it is quite filling. There is a small eating area outside. There are also several tv's in there with some high top tables that can accommodate several people at a time.
What an Amazing customer service by the manager Scott and the employee Justin at the St Charles location. On memorial weekend for the free beef sandwich my app didnt work, Scott was very super nice, polite and professional and said no problem at all. Just come in and we will help you. Amazing Customer Service!.
Stopped on a whim. I'm from dekalb, so I generally am not in the area much. I've driven past this place at least two dozen times since it's inception.. and stopped for the first time on Friday.
It was great. Similar to what I remember from the first time I ever had Buona back at the Taste of Chicago almost two decades ago.
I should've ordered some of their beef and gravy for homecooking.
Prices weren't terrible -- similar to Portillos.. but I much prefer the slices of meat, spices, and gardiniera of Buona.
Solid choice, will definitely be by again.
Friendly staff, always attentive and the food is great.
I usually have to pull around and wait a bit for my food And what that says to me is that it was made to order and not sitting around on a shelf.
That makes a huge difference in quality.
Just don't forget to tip the people that bring the food out to you. They work hard too!
I really appreciate Justin the cashier at this place, he is just so nice every time I come in! And the chicken Parmesan is also very good!
