Every time we have been there we have been blown away by great food and amazing service. I love the tacos combo, just enough food for a small meal. My hubby likes the burritos for a bigger meal and the kids love quesadillas. We also love the beans so we order an extra side of those. The only "downside" is that the place is so good they are always busy so you have to bring your patience.
Truly awesome food!
The best Abodaba and Lengua I've ever had!!
The carnitas mulitas rock!!
I love the fact that they grill outside every day just before lunchtime.
It's a hard place to pass up!!'
The line gets long at noon but they get food out fast!
Took a couple of hungry high school teenage baseball players here for lunch. Good selections to choose from. Cooked fresh . Didn’t have to wait too long for food to be ready. Tasty but a bit on the oily side. Also a bit on the pricier side compared to other Mexican food outfits. I recommend this eatery and would return.
So delicious Mexican food! Especially quesadilla! 😋🙌
Delicious food every time. Staff is friendly. The place is popular. There is always people eating inside. The food is fresh except for my chips. Slightly stale but not enough for me to complain about it. Drinks are self serve from the fountains unless you order the horchata. Great music playing. Will come again.
Great Tacos, I had the Birria tacos and the Chorizo Malitas very delicious, Hot sauce was a good spicy level 😋.
Came down to Sacramento for work and of course I was going to try a lot of the food around. Although the first review was definitely going to be somewhere, Chando's couldn't be left behind. Good reviews and even recommended by a family member in Sac as their favorite.
When I showed up, they were just a bit from closing and was thinking I was going to be disappointed in terms of food quality.
Absolutely not.
Tres de asada y tres de adobada.
Holy cow, I pretty much got the whole loin on these tacos! So much meat I could literally make 12 tacos out of the 6! That's how full they are!
First, the presentation and preparation are A1! Topped with onion, cilantro and most important guacamoke, opening the box makes your eyes peel all the way out. Loaded, hot and fresh.
First bite was into an asada taco. Wow, such deliciously seasoned meat. So tender, so juicy and tongue pleasuring I was so happy to be there in the moment. I had an enormous amount of meat fall off I had to leave the second tortilla behind to make the best of it. Literally happenes with a the tacos. 10 stars for the asada taco.
The adobada though, wasn't particularly my favorite. The seasoning of the meat was definitely not mine. I wasn't having it with that. It wasn't the worst, it wasn't bad, it's just my pallete, so to you who's reading this, I hope you either like it or you don't. Try 1 taco of it because I think I'd rather warn you than to lie and say it was delicious. I ate those first and finished off with the asada tacos. 7 out of 10, 3 off for flavors but those 7 are well deserved for preparation and presentation as well. Still looked beautiful and appetizing.
Last, my drink. The pineapple water was absolutely scrumptious. Real pineapple flavor, ice cold was soooo good. 10/10 for the awesome refresher.
The horchata was questionable even though I didn't taste it. My cousins reported it was kind of nasty but don't take my word for it. I went strictly to the pineapple water.
I will be back to you Chando's!!!
Chando's makes some of the best tacos in town, though I especially like the Norcal burrito. You won't be disappointed with any of the meat/non-meat options and lots of salsa choices. Be sure to wear your mask!
I just ate the most amazing thing there is in the entire universe. The chorizo-topped quesadilla was very wonderful. I compared it to my first time eating ice cream as a baby.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The choice of meats is varied and each has a distinct flavor. The mulitas are lovely little saucers of cheese, meat, and love.
You won't need to break the bank getting some fantastic food here, either. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the amount of meat they serve.
Brought my cousin here and they really liked it. It doesn’t feel like authentic Mexican food but it serves it niche.
Food quality was amazing and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.
