There was a little bit of a wait, but the food was worth it! My daughter's and I ordered shrimp tempura and egg rolls. The tempura was cooked perfectly, it was fresh and crispy. The egg rolls were crunchy and the ingredients inside were fill of flavor. The veggies were slightly cooked with a little crunch stoll to them. The food was so good we went again and ordered the same thing a couple days later!
I've been going here for years. I grew up in this area. Unfortunately, this experience has given me a negative outlook. The family that owns this place keeps it in the family. But it seemed like the person that was working today. Was not very happy about his job. Unfortunately, it gave me a bad outlook on the company period I will continue to go here as I've supported this place over the years and I enjoyed their double teriyaki chicken however if the owners read this, I suggest you guys consider your customer service.

This establishment is right around the corner from us, in older Rosemont Town center. Every time we've been there, they are fast, efficient, friendly and the food has always been fresh... We typically order about once or twice a month, and we really continue to go back because it's so good. Always to go, we've never eaten inside.
I've been wanting to try Teriyaki Chicken Express for some time now, and had a chance to stop in yesterday, April 7th, for lunch. I ordered the spicy chicken plate (#29, I believe, @ $9.49 including tax) and it was some of the best Asian fast food I've had in a while. The plate was big; big enough to share for two light appetites. I was really hungry and had a hard time putting it down. The chicken was generously portioned and far above average for these hole-in-the-wall Asian food joints. The vegetables too (carrots, cabbage, brocolli and onion) were firm and fresh and tasty. I almost gave four stars for the 25 cent soda refills and the dirty interior, but I'm all about value, and it's obvious they're putting their money into the food, which is fine by me. The 25 cent soda refills were an issue only because I'm not going to get back in the lunch line on my way out the door. In any case, a minor annoyance, and I will certainly be heading back there for lunch in the future.

Local, family owned, fresh and delicious. You can get a great meal with rice and steamed veggies with your choice of meat for $10. Cant beat that. And food quality is consistent.
This place has reasonable prices and a fairly large portioned chicken teriyaki plate that is up in my top three teriyaki places to eat. The meat is grilled nicely and somehow the steamed rice is about one million degrees!!! They have a good variety of items on the menu but I’m stuck on the teriyaki chicken!!!
