The beer is super good, I loved their double IPA. The seating was ample, the ambiance was fun and the staff was friendly. I really genuinely like this place. They just need to work on who they book for food, or at least the pizza truck. I spent 25$ dollars on a sub par pizza. Haphazardly thrown together and burnt it wasn't worth it. Other than that, perfect place to be

The new ownership is doing nice things. They were going to change every beer in the place, backed off of that just slightly. They decided that the barrel aged ales that they had were very good bordering incredible, so they are retaining that. Otherwise the prior mediocre ales are all gone. They added a hazy IPA and tested a sour Gose and tropical pale ale. Service was on point and at some point I will be back. Heads up though, parking can be a challenge.

We had 3 different beers: 1. East Sac Bitter - unique beer not found often in the US. I never tried it before, and this one is very tasty. 2. Relaxed Fit - it's a hoppy Pale Ale, crisp and delicious, west coast profile flavor. 3. FnA Cuzzie - a New Zealand IPA, some find it a bit much, I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere and the bartender are awesome!

Fun little brewery! Nice beer selection and fun staff. They often have a food truck and there is a barbershop next door. I suggest getting the sour beer!

Porchlight Brewing Company Review First visit to Porchlight Brewing Company. Guests, diners and drinkers, appeared to be a well educated, upscale 25 to 54 age group. Location: Porchlight Brewery is directly across the street from Antique Row on 57th Street in East Sacramento. It's not huge. It's more on the 'boutique' side than a giant brew pub. This may be the source of it's unique charm and neighborhood feel. Before I get carried away, I need to give a shout out to the Porchlight Brewery Co. webmaster. My first introduction to Porchlight was on their website. The website creates a  sense, a feeling, that Porchlight knows their customers, their likes and dislikes and that they offer the menu and environment their guests are looking for. Well done. I milled about the twenty-five, or so, customers who were seated outside under the Covid created, covered seating area, enjoying their beers and Side Hustle pizzas. Customers order directly from the Pizza maker without having to go inside, stand in line and wait for a cashier to pay. Ordering is really streamlined. The Side Hustle Pizza limited menu helps. #1 Margherita w/ arugula #2 Pepperoni w/ serrano + pineapple #3 Mushroom- white pie w/ arugula + herbs #4 Portuguese Sausage with onion #5 Vegan- white pie w/ almond milk cheese, roasted pepper, kalamata olive, herbs #6 BBQ Chicken w/ cilantro + onion Full $17 Half $12 It's no secret why Side Hustle Pizza has been brought back so many times. As I moved around, the guests were talking pizza, their favorite pizzas. There are enough pizzas on the Side Hustle Pizza limited menu to keep them hooked on returning again and again. Watching Andrew, the pizza maker, working with fresh ingredients and dough he shops for and prepares, is like watching a dance recital. No wasted moves. The pizzas looked great. I'll return later to try several and review them here. While I was there, about 45 minutes, I didn't have an opportunity to go inside and chat with the people behind the counter. I could tell by the way they engaged their guests that they knew their beer. Porchlight Brewery is not a big flea market warehouse vibe drinking establishment, so if you're looking for a Cow Palace shoulder to shoulder brewery experience, you won't find it there. The closest ambiance to the Porchlight Brewery sit down, enjoy a beer and order something off a food truck, or a Side Hustle Pizza, is the old outdoor seating arrangement the Tower Cafe had before they almost doubled up on their outdoor tables. You can still have an intimate conversation at Porchlight Brewery and not have to raise your voice to be heard. One final observation. While I haven't been there on a Food Truck night, it's apparent that the decision to bring in outside food vendors and creators works, and shows a lot of care by Porchlight's management. Andrew, the Side Hustle pizza guy, fit right in. The guests seemed to know him and like him. The Side Hustle Pizza mobile concept fits in beautifully with the upscale Porchlight Brewery experience. Final takeaways? The guests at Porchlight Brewery appeared to be professional people, upscale. The atmosphere was positive. No stress. Porchlight Brewery and Side Hustle Pizza play well together in East Sac. I'll review the food and the beer selection on my next visit with some friends that actually drink beer.

Interesting place with a nice variety of beer choices (not overwhelming). Indusrial type decor and super nice bartender who took the time to explain the beer choices. I ended up with a 'sours' that was very good. Outdoor seating on picnic type tables. Good experience.

Visited again after not going since they first opened a number of years ago, and it's really expanded. Had the King of Kihei, coconut imperial stout, and wow was it amazing! Staff was kind, service was quick, and it was very family friendly. We were there on a trivia night and the place was full. It was noisy inside (its a small brewery) so we chose to sit off to the side to enjoy our drinks and dinner where it was a bit quieter. The only thing I would change is the staff who decided to bump loud metal/rock over the brewery's current music while doing paperwork next to patrons. Kebab guys was there and he made some very excellent food.

Fun spot with decent beer and an outdoor area. The sidewalk chalk for the kiddo was a hit! I'll have to come back.

Stopped in to catch a vibe @Porchlightbrewco. Great customer service. Our bartender was approachable and well versed in the beers on tap. Kolsch had a sharp ale finish, I prefer a smoother Kolsch however still acceptable. The sour hit all the right notes with a clean finish that didn't linger.

Friendly staff and relaxing vibe with a tasty selection of quality beers and live acoustic music on the outdoor patio on some weekend nights. They had a taco truck in the parking lot. Definitely will be back again!

Love this place! Looking forward to visiting again after COVID. Great selection of beer and delivery connections with several eateries makes Porchlight a great spot to sip and eat after a hard day's work.

Service was friendly and the space is comfortable. Prices are good and they have some good specials during the week. The beer was decent but there was only one I loved. I'd go back.
