One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in Sacramento. Looks like they make the dumplings, noodles, and then some fresh on site! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, and not super heavy oil like some of the other Chinese in Sacramento. Highly recommend pan fried dumplings, Green onion pancake, and the duck. We will certainly be back with more people.
Food was really really good with authentic Shanghai cuisine. Although the house was kind of old, dark, and not in a well maintained environment (e.g. sticky floor and a little bit dirty restrooms), seemed it used to be decorated with old time too. Surrounding the photos on the wall, with oldie furniture, probably can imagine one was back to Old Shanghai in China. Not that old, but like in 90s. For a while, I thought the place was abandoned. Except of these feelings, it was very much enjoyment on the food. Only one dish was kind of salty but all tasted so delicious.
My husband and I had a really great time! The overall decor and style of the restaurant is inviting and modern. We ordered the spicy pork dumplings, pan-fried pork dumplings, and shrimp with pork dumplings! My favorite was the spicy pork dumplings! Definitely coming back!
Really authentic flavor, especially the pork soup dumplings. It made me feel like I was actually in Shanghai.
Good food, authentic, nice and quiet place. Good for anyone who'd love to try out authentic Chinese cuisine. Customer service as its best.

Best Shanghainese food I’ve had in awhile. Service is really fast and all dishes are extremely tasty. Recommend pan fried pork bun, pork soup dumpling, brown sauce duck

solid XLB, but the fav at the table was the shen jian bao! fried rice is good but the portion is smaller than I'm used to. the porkchop was decent and the chili oil is great!
Very authentic Shanghai food, the crispy bottom of Shen Jian Bao is my favorite.
