Great spot for a wide variety of organic and non gluten products. Customer service was awesome. Loved the sandwich bar and sushi place inside.

This Arden area Whole Foods Market has a fabulous meat and seafood department, likely the best in all of Sacramento. The selections are unrivaled by any other grocer. Most meat and seafood counters have a very common standard of salmon, tilapia, cod, and sometimes snapper or halibut; and it doesn't look very fresh. In addition to the common standards, served brighter and fresher, this store generally offers fresh Chilean Sea Bass, swordfish, ahi ahi, Mahi, king crab and snow crab, oysters that don't stink to high heaven, and so on. You can actually buy a 2" thick steak and, on occasion, a tomahawk steak ready for the grill! I truly don't know of anywhere else in SacTown you can make that purchase. They also offer a great ready to eat area with pizza by the slice, sandwiches made to order, prepared dinners, etc. The bakery here is top notch, offering a much higher level of treats and such than other grocery store bakeries offer. There's no comparison. For the health minded souls, the organic options, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and other special dietary selections are endless.

This is a great Whole Foods. Great bakery and deli and cheese selection. Very good produce. Nice meats and fish. Flower section is great. Needless to say, it's pricey. but Amazon members do get pretty decent discounts on select items. It's all around very good. Note: Parking can be challenging during peak shopping hours.

Did Willy Wonka create this place? Oooh, my gosh, as soon as you walk in the door, you are hit with all the smells of fresh foods from the kitchen area and bakery, and the food is delicious. The kitchen area alone takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 of the store. Then there is the rest of the store. Every food variation you can imagine seems to be available, have a food allergy, they have groceries to fit your diet, are you a vegetarian or vegan, they have the food, gluten free items, they have it. Anything your heart can imagine, you just might find it at Whole Foods, but bring your pocket book. It ain't cheap. My wife and I got food at the kitchen from the self-service area, we got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, a garden salad, a strawberry cake dessert and a couple bubbly drinks and we spent about $70. We did get enough for about 4 people even though it was just the 2 of us, but it was like going to a restaurant without the tip, but mmm mmm it was yummy like a home cooked meal, something grandma would make. 😋

Smaller whole foods location, but they have a huge deli, hot food, and produce section. Large whole body section, although the freezer section is small. Parking is plentiful, although folks can get a bit crazy in the parking lot. They also have a dedicated mini-shop for Amazon returns, which is nice because some whole foods just have a counter in the middle of the store.

Very elaborate and upscale food store, offering highest quality foods. A big plus on deals for Amazon Prime members.

I gave 4 stars. Parking lot makes no sense. Lot is crowded. I use the store to return Amazon items. I looked around, trying to find a deli counter. I think a deli does not exist here. Other than that, I didn't hang around long as the store is small and crowded

My wife loves it. I come here, for her, with her. Not for me. We are like that movie Lady and the Tramp. It's for ladies for sure.

This place has so much stuff it can sometimes be overwhelming. On one side of the store is fresh produce, much of it organic. On the other side of the store is prepared food, both hot and cold. It can be eaten there, cafeteria style, with inside and outside seating both downstairs and upstairs, or packed in one of their "to go" boxes to take it with you. And the food is good! Vegetarian, Vegan, non-dairy, gluten free, you can find it all, along with meat items. In between the two sides is a melange of items. There's food, of course, but all of it healthy in one way another. Even the chocolate is organic, or a high percentage of cocoa, or gluten or dairy free. You get the idea. There's the vitamin / mineral / supplement section. And it is large and stocked. Luckily they have someone there at all times to help you. They also have a make-up section; a jewelry section; an aromatherapy section; an incense section; a yoga section; and much more! Need help? There is a centrally located Help Desk. Bathroom? One downstairs and one upstairs by the mezzanine. Both are individual and unisex. Unfortunately, only the upstairs bathroom has a baby changing table. Fortunately, there is an elevator right next to both. This place is huge and so is it's parking lot, which includes plenty of handicap spots and even a few free SMUD hookups. Come enjoy yourself but don't expect to get out of there quickly, there's too much to see and lots of people there wanting to see it.

Great place for gourmet and specialty foods, though a bit spendy. With the storm coming in, it's a perfect time for an English treat: Scones with Clotted Cream & strawberry jam. (Don't let the name fool you. Clotted Cream is basically halfway between whipped Cream and butter.) Y.U.M.
