I’ve seen this restaurant from the highway but didn’t go until I found out they have brunch. My partner and I went today and we were absolutely blown away!
1. Service: The server Carlos was so kind. We were the only people in the restaurant at 9 am on a Saturday but he welcomed us and said we can sit anywhere we would like. After learning we were vegetarian, he went out of his way to ask the chef Nick to modify our brunch order. Nick was so kind as well! He came up to us to chat and I’ve never had a chef do that before.
2. Food: My partner got the lemon ricotta pancakes and I got the avocado toast. Both were so delicious. They gave us three huge pancakes and two generous toasts with eggs, potatoes and fruit. The potatoes were absolutely incredible. We were surprised at how crispy yet soft and flavorful the potatoes were despite their simple presentation. We couldn’t stop eating them even though we were full.
3. Price: We got all of that food for $28!!! We were shocked. Most places in Sac cost us double. This is such a hidden gem of a brunch place. Honestly they should be charging more.
4. Atmosphere: it’s such a cute date spot :) I loved the art on the wall.
The reason why I hadn’t gone here before is because their lunch and dinner menu is lacking for vegetarians. But today, I asked Carlos if it’s possible to turn the dishes vegetarian and he said “yes! You can even call us in advance to let us know.” So kind!!
We had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Fresh, warm bread with homemade soup and pasta! Ippolito’s is an Italian cuisine lover’s delight. The fact that the service is great is a huge plus as well. I personally recommend the Tuscan Chicken & Shrimp, Lamb Chops, and Calamari Fritters. They also run a lunch special here and they don’t skimp on the portions or flavor. A must try!
My family absolutely LOVES this restaurant! We come as a family of four, or just the husband and I for a date night. The atmosphere is fitting for both. We have had almost every item on the menu, and it's always amazing. Chicken is always flavorful and moist, gnocchi pillowy and delicious. If you enjoy Tiramisu, this is the place to go. Actually, all of their food is a reason to visit. Pictured is the calamari, osso bucco ravioli , sea bass, custard flan and the best Tiramisu. Before dinner you get some amazing homemade minestrone and fresh rolls with oil and vinegar. I could go on, but you really need to just go, it's worth it.
This place was one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in a long time. The waiter we had a young tall gentleman very nice very polite explained the menu items like he wrote the recipes for each dish . Lobster 🦞 Ravioli was so good with the shrimp 🍤 on top omg so good, also friend got the Spaghetti 🍝 the waiter explained how the chef marinated the sausage used to make it, made the whole experience great. Will be going back here again soon already told many people at work about it.
By chance, we are next door at a retail location and wanted to try some dinner! We have never been here before and I must say, this restaurant checks all the boxes. Delicious!! Food service was fast and the food was hot! I highly recommend this new location!!
How did I not know about this gem sooner? A lovely spot, conveniently close to home with high-quality handmade scrumptious food. I had the spinach & strawberry salad which was so fresh and delicious. I also had the Tuscan chicken and shrimp pasta - chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich, but in just the right amount so as not to overwhelm the dish and the flavor of the homemade pasta. Prices are reasonable. Good ambiance. They even had my favorite, hard-to-find wine!
The waitress was very nice, the food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere. Will be returning here again!!!!

Truly authentic Italian food, so rich and smooth, I had the Lasgna, and my husband had the mushrooms tortellini, both were exquisite. Brings olive garden to shame.
Went to Ippolitos for the first time on a whim and immediately returned for a second time. The food is homemade and you can taste the difference! The staff made sure to take care of us throughout the meal. The location is a bit off the beaten path but it is well worth the trip! I’ve had the veal raviolis and the eggplant parmigiana, both were incredible! And serving size is above average, especially for the price! Highly recommend
