Was pumping gas next door when I saw Willie’s Burgers and decided to give it a try. This place isn’t life changing, but it is certainly good. I had the regular burger (Hammer 1) and chili cheese fries. Everything was fresh. The burger was standard but the chili cheese fries were amazing. I was not expecting such big portions for such a low price. Will come again to pair the chili cheese fries with a shake.
The burgers are excellent and the Zoo fries 🍟 are really a treat! The food is always fresh and the service is great. The reason for the 4 stars is the dinning area is usually filled with the deliveries.... The good news is the supplies go down quickly. The place is always hopping so all their ingredients is always fresh.
I thought that the food was good. I wasn't blown away, though. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. Seating is limited, and outside seating is available.
Got a late night burger and shake, totally HIT THE SPOT! They have a little outdoor patio where you can sit and devour their delish food. Garlic fries were so amazing. Shake was thick and sweet - better than Johnny Rockets!
Fantastic burgers. Just a plain cheeseburger is delicious. The chili cheeseburgers are off the hook. And then of course you have a ton of varieties with the fries. You got chili fries. You have regular fries. You have garlic fries. And you have garlic cheese fries.
And let's not forget about the shakes they are delicious and sort of custom-made with each order.
During a work trip to Sacramento, my coworker and I found ourselves in need of a meal, and he graciously introduced me to his favorite burger joint in town. I opted for a classic cheeseburger, accompanied by a side of their famed garlic fries. Let me tell you, that burger was nothing short of a flavor explosion, with every bite being an unforgettable, taste-bud-tingling experience. As for the garlic fries, they were undeniably delicious, although a tad more thorough tossing wouldn't have hurt.
In my humble opinion, this establishment is worthy of a Michelin star, considering the rating system's criteria. If you're in the area, make it a point to stop by, because the culinary excellence you'll find here is truly outstanding. Don't miss out on this gem!
Great little burger stop. To me it resembles in-n-out.
The burger was hot, all of the ingredients tasted fresh. All of the condiments come together and offer a good burger. The burger patty is thin but perfectly fine by me. The fresh were hot and perfectly salted. A small order could easily feed two.
The ambiance is a perfect hole in the wall gem, supplies are stacked on tables in chairs in the dining room, the environment is clean and actively being cleaned inside and out.
I will have to return and try other menu items. Lots of customers combined with the short hours of operations seems to tell me it's a local hot spot.
Easy and local burger place. Feels like a part of sacramento history. My burger was decent, tastes like a simple one you would make at a park. I really liked the chilli fries and casual atmosphere.
The most awesome 50's style hamburger in Sacramento! Lg. Fries feeds 3-4 people. Grilled onions are available+Soo many more side and Burger options! The Grandma Love is in there too! Enjoy & come back to explore the menu....
Straight forward burger joint. Read menu board share your choices with cashier. Followed by here or to go then if it will be cash or card, ranch with your order and if you want fresh onions.
Let's get into how delicious the burger is...DELICIOUS, flavorful seasoned, buns so light. Garlic fries made to order just the right amount of parmesan and garlic... not salty.
My dining companion greatly enjoyed the hand battered onion rings.
We shared a hot dog that had a good snap... dressed with fresh onions and relish.
This is a must visit if you are near Sacramento.
