We ordered calamari rings, spicy chicken drunken noodles, duck pad se ew, spicy beef thai basil and spicy chicken Thai fried rice. None of the dishes were spicy to our Asian taste buds but everything was flavorful. Calamari rings were not fresh and were chewy. Do not order duck with pad se ew, it tasted off. Portions were large and lots of protein in the dishes. Food took quite a bit to arrive maybe ~45 min.
The food was very tasty. We got crab fried rice to go. They special made it with brown rice at our request. We enjoyed it very much.
I recently visited Sai Varee Thai Cuisine in Sacramento, and I must say, I was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous.
But what really made my experience memorable was the amazing service from the manager, Pam. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. From recommending other dishes to ensuring our food was served hot and fresh, Pam truly made our visit special.
Overall, I highly recommend Sai Varee Thai Cuisine to anyone in the Sacramento area looking for delicious food and excellent service. And if you're lucky enough to have Pam as your manager, you're in for a real treat!
I really like this place! I live really close & every time I place an order for pick up, it’s already there waiting for me. Coming from the downtown area, I’m really impressed with the portion sizes of everything! My go to is the pad Thai & an order of the karee puff.
Recommend papaya salad because of its large size, I normally don’t like iceberg lettuce but in this case it added a little bit more greens and freshness to the entire salad.
Pad Thai had too much sauce and was too sweet
This is the best Thai food I have had in Sacramento. The food is fresh, and actually spicy. I have travelled to Thailand and this place is the most similar that I have had in comparison.
Highly recommend!
Been coming here for years. Excellent food and service. I especially love their curries. The massaman curry is my favorite. I also love their coconut soup and their stir fried. Really you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Even the fried bananas with ice cream is so refreshing.
The seafood special was really good and is my favorite dish - get it spicy, but the capers probably aren't for everyone so maybe treat them as a garnish. I enjoyed all the appetizers - my party particularly loved the coconut shrimp and the chicken wings. Very good calamari and I also recommend the curries. Ask for extra spice if you like spicy food!
The pumpkin curry was delicious. The cashew chicken was pretty good, but I was shocked that it had been peppered after cooking, and not during.
Great food and service. The red and yellow curry were amazing. So was drunken noodles.
