New Moon Restaurant

My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out since The StrikeZone stopped serving breakfast. We came here on Friday, 4/08/22 at 8:00am. It was almost empty when we walked in, we were greeted right away and asked to seat ourselves. We noticed right away that the floors were clean, music was playing and the waitresses were eager to serve us. The prices of our drinks (traditional Bloody Mary & Orange Juice Mimosa) was a little expensive, but for 8:00am on a Friday in downtown Saco, we really couldn’t complain! I chose Salted Caramel & Pecan Belgian waffles while my boyfriend decided to get a twist on his favorite dish, Irish Eggs Benny. Least to say- my waffles didn’t have very much caramel on them, and the hollandaise sauce tasted sour in my boyfriends opinion. Overall we decided on three stars, because the service was great and timely.

Had an amazing time at brunch. Great fresh food with quick service. Have an amazing selection of bloody Marys and mimosas to keep everykne happy. Parking can be tricky in the area, but the food and friendly staff greatly make up for it. Was my first time there but definitely will not be my last. Best thing is that brunch is not just relegated to the weekends, they do brunch seven days a week. So there is always time to grab your closest friends and have a great time

I would say the food was a 3.5 but everything overall like the service and location make it a 4. I really liked the pancakes they were thick and fluffy. The bacon and eggs were standard and good. The potatoes I had however tasted burnt and had no flavor. The servers were so sweet and attentive. The wait was sort of long but it gets busy in the mornings. The food was okay, well what I got at least.

The service, the food, the speed everything was exceptional! Everything we had was cooked perfectly and for as busy as they were the turnover was fast, All the workers were friendly and worked together very nicely whether it was our waitress or not we were checked on about our food with a smile and making sure we was all set. For as busy we never felt rushed even tho my son and I are slow eaters. I can’t believe I’ve never gone here before safe to say we have found a new go to breakfast spot

We have been to New Moon many times, and always have a great experience. Our favorites are the Monte Carlo french toast sandwich, which is essentially a Monte Cristo. Delicious! Our other favorite is the Eggs Benedict. We usually order both, and share them to create a wonderful breakfast buffet. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent!
