Absolutely the BEST lobster roll I’ve ever had. Next time I am in town, I’ll definitely be back

The service is fast and good. I ordered a lobster roll online it was done a little early and they messaged me to see how I’d like it. It was on the pricey side but a good side.
I didn’t care for the Mayo they used on it and the lobster was good but not the best I’ve had. All in all a solid place for the usual seafood fare.

Have been going here for years. Excellent food. Unfortunately not now. The food was ok. The onion rings were actually pretty good. The clam chowder was the worst: undercooked potatoes (very hard) and only a few small shavings of clam. No wait staff. You order up front find a seat and pick up your food. There’s a big garbage can for you to dispose of your cardboard boxes and plastic. For the price I shouldn’t have to clean off the table like we do at home. It was a mediocre experience at best. They’re blaming Covid for no wait staff and they can’t hire people. Everywhere else we’ve eaten this week is staffed. Sounds like a cheap excuse for taking a very short cut. The new owners have a lot of work to do. Sad to say we won’t be back.

Went to Huots today, Monday, Memorial Day. I understand the restaurant is with new ownership.
I am extremely disappointed . The fried clams were soggy and rubbery with minimal coating. We got 2 orders of fried clams, one large, one medium that cost close to $60.00. The clams came with NO tartar sauce.
For the double cheeseburger: soggy bread and generic skinny Hamburg patties.
The salad was not fresh.
Tourist beware! I spent 136.00 for food that was reminiscent of a greasy spoon diner that one goes to after the bar closes! Sub Par!

I want to start off by saying that my family has been coming here ever since my dad was a kid. It’s been a VERY disappointing surprise coming here after two long years of covid. The new concept of no wait staff is whatever; but the food itself? Not worth the money. The scallops were over cooked, and the outside was drenched in oil. The clams tasted like nothing. The fries tasted like they were straight out of the freezer. Most disappointing of all was the lobster roll. Before the new owners, it used to come filled with lobster meal, delicious fries and coleslaw and a pickle. You were paying for a delicious and outstanding meal. Now? I got a single lobster roll, no fries, no coleslaw and the roll was barely filled with lobster. Very very disappointing. And I can understand that covid has changed a lot of things, but the taste and quality of food should have remained untouched. After over 40 years, this year was the last.

Great place to get local seafood cooked and quick, first time trying a clam cake, not much clam taste. I had the small combo with fried scallops, very good. You can take out eat in or outside.

Online ordering wasn’t working but no message was posted that they were not taking online orders. We had to call to find out they were only taking in person orders. The food had been fried in old unfiltered oil. The outsides of the fried clams were covered by a layer of old crumbs from the dirty oil. The fries were underdone and tasted and smelled like a freezer. For the extremely high prices charged by the new management at the very least the oil should be changed regularly and the fries stored and cooked correctly. We will not be returning.

Fried Scallops were good and the Clam Cakes were delicious, so moist and flavorful. Onion Rings and Clam Chowder were tasteless. Onion Rings literally had zero taste, and the chowder was as thin as water and tasted like something out of a can. Had to put two packets of pepper in to even consider eating it.
