What a great local experience. It's known for its ice cream but the food and service was outstanding too. Great lobster roll and even had gluten-free buns! I had the sorbet for dessert and it didn't disappoint! Had chunks of real fruit in it. Everyone else loved their ice cream.

Amazing place to go for ice cream and snacks. The ice cream is great and has many different flavors. The fries are really well fried and there is plenty of seating. Would definitely go here during the summer or early fall. Bring you're kids, or you're friends.

First visit today but it won't be my last. Fast service, great fish and delicious icecream. Perfect for a New England summer's day! The portions were just right which is always a plus...

We were on our way to another restaurant when we passed this place.. We turned around and decided to give it a shot.
We are glad we did!
The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Decent size portions for the cost. I had the bacon and blue burger and my wife had the peppers and onions burger. Both were delicious

We had lunch at The Ice House in Rye, NH today. It has been over 5 years since we were there last. Normally we get a seafood dish which have always been excellent, but today all we wanted was a sandwich, We both ordered the turkey club sandwich – it was very good and made with real turkey, not deli slices. We dined outside as they hade many picnic tables behind the building. Service was quick and the order takers were friendly and made certain we were getting what we ordered. We need to go back more often. And, by the way, the ice cream is also very good.

I visited a lot when I was a kid. I haven't visited in awhile but I found the ice-cream is still good. I had the Totally Turtle, vanilla ice-cream mixed with caramel, fudge chips and sliced pecans (?). It tasted good.
Service was good. Price to portion is better at other places. Menu for cooked food available. Indoor seating and ATM available. Cash only.
Parking can get tight when they are busy.
