Best Cambodian food ever! Pad Thai, caramelized pork, spring and egg rolls, lemon grass and red curry were all so simply and beautifully done. My brother has been going for over a year and finally brought me along. I was not disappointed. Congrats on Top 100 to eat in Dallas! The kettle tea was amazing too. If you like asain, you're missing out if you don't check this place out. Owner and family are more than friendly and welcoming
Absolutely love this place. Great curry, some of the best red curry I’ve ever eaten. And I love curry. Friendly, fast service. Rumdoul received a top 100 Texas restaurant award. Considering how many restaurants are in Texas, it’s quite the honor. I highly recommend!
Don't miss out on this place! I had probably the best bowl of red curry of my life. I asked for spicy and I got exactly that. The menu is small but incredibly diverse. Choosing what to get was so tough I just had to come back for dinner the same day. The caramelized pork was amazing, a new dish to me and now a new favorite. My wife had to copy me and get the red curry, but low spice - still amazing, and just how she likes it. The staff were very attentive and the cook so genuinely desired to please our pallettes. Making good food and playing customers is clearly a passion not just a business here.
Visan at Rumdoul is a very gracious and personable host and the food is terrifically authentic and fresh. 💯 If you haven't visited this family owned and operated gem, you are seriously missing out!
We ordered Combination Noodle Soup (Kuy Teav Phnom Penh)
Ground pork, shrimp, crabmeat, bean sprouts, spring onions, and noodles. Serve in steaming hot bowl of chicken broth. I cut back on the noodles and added vegetables. The homemade pepper sauce made it out of this world tasty!!
Lemongrass combo and drunken noodles with pork. All were incredible and my daughter commented that the Thai tea was the best she's tasted.
Best Cambodian restaurant in DFW, no wonder it has a 4.9 rating here - the food tastes just like it does in Cambodia, and home cooked at that. But what will keep you coming back again and again is the super friendly and professional staff (who I think are from the same family?!). Amazing place. Highly recommended.
True mom and pop. Food is always good. If you had not been, you must give it a try.
Wanted to try something different in Rowlett and Rumdoul did not disappoint. My son and I played it safe with the Pad Thai w/ chicken. It was wonderful! I stuffed myself and my son had to leave some noodles behind because it was a generous portion. The real surprise was how wonderful the wait staff was. The gal was very sweet and helpful as we needed suggestions for our first visit. The gentleman that was cleaning tables and refilled our drinks was funny, nice, and, of course, very helpful. My son works for tips at his job and was driven to leave a 50% tip because the food and service were wonderful! 6 Stars! :D
This place is a bomb!! They’re family owned and extremely nice and friendly. And most of all, the food is simple and great and tastes like home cooking. Not like a restaurant full of additives fake taste.
I love this place and will keep going back.
This place needs to be known and get more popular!
