Dos Charros

The big sign in the window it says Buffet is an eye catcher. Unfortunately the buffet is only Saturday and Sunday and that isn't very small print at the bottom of the sign in a color that blends in with the window. Once you enter the building it has the feel of a 60s error Roadside Diner.( by that I mean it has not been upgraded since the 60s ) the menu is rather extensive one full page for lunch specials alone which also doubles as the evening menu just for one and $2 more. I had ordered the number 16 what's a beef enchilada a chicken enchilada and a taco with beans and rice. If you going to go in hungry then you're going to buy an extra helping portions are small but they tasted good there's nothing wrong with the food. Although I am concerned let the waitress waiting on me had the sniffles and would routinely touch her nose with her bare hand. I was careful to wipe down my utensils and anything she came in contact with and we will see you in a day or two if I get sick. All in all I would say was not a bad restaurant like I said the food was good but I don't think I will return. At least not until I can tell they renovate the place. With a restaurant that old in Texas I can't help but to think there's a roach problem somewhere. Possibly due to the one that raining across the counter as I was checking out. But we will see

They do great work here, and the service is usually pretty good. Of course the world is not always perfect so do not everyone else to be either. The chips are so good here. It is hard to find a better place that is affordable to take a family for dinner and not break the bank and still have good food. You usually trade quality for cost, but not here. They do a fantastic job and keeping the balance. I would recommend that you check them out, and eat in. They are great to also have to go and sit at the house and enjoy a movie night!

Ordered from here for the first time today. I will not be ordering again. The fajita salad was 1/4 water, the queso was runny, the salsa just tasted like cumin, the chips tasted old and the chimichanga was blah. All of it lacked flavor and seasoning. I would not waste your hard earned money on this place.

Have eaten there many of times with no issues. Great food and service every time, except today. Today we had family in town and arrived I guess to close to closing time. Waited to be seated, attitude from waitress, sweeping floors while trying to eat, had to get owner to refresh drinks, and the noise of stacking chairs. Don't suggest going near closing time, but yes we will be back.

I live in the area and have given this restaurant multiple opportunities (like 5 ) and they are consistently bad. They have horrible customer service. They don't refill chips and salsa or drinks without being asked. Food is average. I believe this restaurant caters to the "regulars" because my family and I have gone on karaoke night and gotten the buffet-well the waiter rushes us and wants to give us our ticket quickly and the DJ says he doesn't have several songs choices our children have made. Come on, everyone has access to pretty much any song choice nowadays. I suppose the "regulars" keep this business in business.
